I'm working with my passion (music) and going to school for art direction / game design in september, and good lord it took me 3 years to be able to do any of this, even though it's not much atm. It will grow into a life that I like and find appealing and will work for me, but it will still take time. None of this happened because I sat back and waited.

Future events are impossible to predict. But things can easily begin to get much worse tomorrow, just as likely as they can begin to get much better. Fate is unpredictable. Exactly. They are impossible to predict but you can shape the future through your actions. If you don't do anything at all, nothing ever changes. If you keep telling yourself nothing will happen and nothing will get better, then I've got news bro, that's exactly what will happen. You will shrivel up and never experience the greener grass. You have potential, but like me when I was going through my dark years, you fail to see it. I've had far too many concussions in the past 4 years, and after numerous MRI's and CT's, its revealed I have macroscopic (yes, visible to the naked eye) scarring all over my brain in different areas. My memory and ability to remember dates, assignments, facts, little quibs of anything, is that of a 45 year old, and I'm 19. I failed my first term of university because I couldn't remember I had essays and things to do until the week before. In your words, I would be doomed forever to a life of failure. But I'm not letting something I can't change ruin me, I'm learning how to manage myself. Notes, weekly-planner entries, whiteboard, I work with what I have.
