Freud did a lot to make modern psychology relevant and exist as it does today, and he should be respected/thought of as such. Despite being blatantly wrong on a lot of things, its more what he did for the field, rather than any hard "discoveries" he made, is why he is relevant.

Ironically it gets posted here probably beacuse this is the only thread on FP that tolerates it to some extent. There can't be a seperate thread about it, because it turns into flamebait for other people to come in and shit on it (which is why the dragon thread still exists, is because nobody actually does it for that thread, despite being worse in content than what a furry thread would be. Everyone instead just cautiously stays away from it instead).
