oh shit here we go, gay coffee time. now this is more like it. Dark Roasts and black, maybe sugar. If its anything but black i put some cream in it and sugar. If you put cream in dark roasts then you're doing it wrong. But seeing as where i am i take each coffee with a dick. Okay i lied, i'm just trying to fit in.

Tea is sweet and has a nice flavor to it. Coffee is bitter and leaves a bad roasted bean aftertaste in your mouth.
Tea > Coffee. No exceptions. Tea is sweet and has a nice flavor to it. Also sounds like you just had a bad roast because coffee should leave that taste. As for the bitterness you're just not manly enough to appreciate it, try it with half and half and sugar. I also hate when people say coffee is bitter and tea is sweet. There are a lot of teas and a lot of them are naturally very bitter and just as there are many different kinds of tea there are many different kinds of coffee. People buy coffee from gas stations and think all coffee is like that. It's like if i had a cup of lipton tea and thought that all tea is like that.

It was so bitter for me I ended up pouring half a cup of sugar into it before I could drink it.
I had a cup of coffee once ages ago. It was so bitter for me I ended up pouring half a cup of sugar into it before I could drink it.
that won't really do anything to make it less bitter, you need half and half to make coffee actually less bitter not just sugar.
that won't really do anything to make it less bitter, you need half and half to make coffee actually less bitter not just sugar.
Well maybe I'll try it tomorrow then. But if it tastes like crap again you owe me a dollar.
Well maybe I'll try it tomorrow then. I take your bet good sir nontheless provided the coffee you taste is not preground or made in a singlecup brewer. do we have a gentlemen's arangement, my fellow chap?

I doubt I could make anything better being that I don't drink the stuff. You're on good sir.
I'm with you, derg. Dark roasts, but not completely black because frankly I don't like the burned smokey taste of black coffee, but I'll take it to the limit with as little sugar or cream just to cut the blackness. Darker roast the better [editline]6th February 2013[/editline]
Nah, Tim Hortons should suffice for the bet. Indie as fuck and the best quality coffee around

Indie as fuck and the best quality coffee around
Small local cafes are the best for coffee but yeah. Also There are many things that can differ in dark roasts not just how long they're roasted. For instance. Since i don't live near any speciality stores for decent unground coffee i have to get a lot of larger known brands that are preground sadly and i often do buy starbucks just because starbucks dark roast is shockingly good and actually affordable considering its a dark roast coffee that isn't mellowed out. There's a significant different from a dark verona blend and the dark french blend. I still don't really like starbucks but when you buy their actual grounds and make it right it's wonderful. I still like to try to buy whole beans, grind per serving, then use a french press. Apologies to you all for hijacking the last half of the page with coffee, but it's my thing. Also i figured it'd be a good entry point for me to post. But mostly because it's coffee. Coffee is fucking tasty.
Well coffee is awesome, man, I'm always down to yak about it :D and Paul. Coffee and Paul. I'm with you on the Starbucks thing. Used to work at one (until they fired me for choosing Paul's concert over a 5:15am start the next morning, fuck, sorry man no shitty job is worth missing Paul for), and the dark roast is actually quite adequate. Still terrible in broader terms, but good enough!
Coffee is fucking tasty.
WHY CAN''T YOU ALL BE MORE LIKE THIS ROCKING REINDEER? There's a reason why i'm jittery as all hell and have a short attention span: coffee. okay i lied again it's not because of coffee.
But I'm a sucker for single cup machines, like tassimo, nescafé and the like, they are just offering me the choice of making different kind of coffees and espressos without raping my wallet.
I hate coffee, yet i love Mocha. Is something wrong with me?
But I'm a sucker for single cup machines, like tassimo, nescafé and the like, they are just offering me the choice of making different kind of coffees and espressos without raping my wallet.
Single cup makers are perfectly fine for a quick cup of coffee and i used them frequently. except i use custom filters so i can use my own grounds while saving a buttload of money. With my methods i managed to make it cost 35 cents per cup of coffee with good coffee too. But if i have time and want to actually really enjoy my coffee, since i don't drink coffee for energy (coffee doesn't work like that for me), i use a french press. The thing with single cups makers is that they tend to water down the coffee and will often brew it too hot or not hot enough rarely the right temperature regardless of it being programmable or not and deliver a subpar cup.

(A bit on how I like with beer) I have a Tassimo T-46 with a handfull of t-discs, recently bought 3 x 14 Café Crema (Because I love em) I find tassimo brewer to keep a certain consistency within every cups too. The bar codes actually really makes it good. All my coffees taste the same, if they're too watery, it's because I just stretch it by holding the button after the brewing is done.
Black coffee is the only way to have it imo.

It never gave me energy though, i probably have ADD which explains literally quite a lot and would explain why stimulants like caffeine don't wake me up but typically actually relax me. I never messed with tassimo's because you cant use your own grounds in them and i refuse to believe they deliver cafe quality espresso because espresso is in a field of it's own that just can't be accurately simulated unless you have the proper machinery to do so. Still the best coffee/espresso drink i've had was a cappuccino i had at a proper cafe in my city. Even took a quick snap of it: despite it being in a paper cup (As i had somewhere to be) it was still the best cup i've ever had.
I usually have either this instant crap from the store, or I get this french blend stuff I got and stick it in my french press, shit's good. And of course I have it black, s'the only way to have it :3:
Espressos aren't same tasting as real ones from a real machine (Used to have one), but they're pretty damn good too.
So I have a boyfriend now. Cool.
Soo I haven't been here for a few days know why? this: http://puu.sh/1YgZW the hell is wrong with general?

Damn kids at skate parks. It would be totally fine if they were old enough to understand that me, 100kg, rolling in to them at like 25kph, is gonna leave both of us fucked up I suppose a good idea would be build one for kids, or just leave them to roll around on their driveways where they'd have almost as much fun and not get in the way.. I literally sent a kid flying through the air about half a meter. Scraped the fuck out of my elbows hands knees and ankles too
