The finer the ground and the darker the roast, the stronger the taste will be.
So if you dont want super bitter get something lighter roast and don't have the grounds be too fine
But I like black tea, even though I put a bit of cream/sugar in it which appears to be frowned upon or something.
I haven't really tried coffee that much, last time I even had any was many many years ago when I used to skateboard at a local park, the guys in the canteen were giving kids free coffee (they we're awesome guys/messing around) and I got hyper as fuck.
I don't really even need to drink coffee, except on days when I'm just incredibly tired for no reason but I make some tea on those days and I'm fine.
Also it may be just me but Tim Hortons seems pretty overrated. I love their doughnuts but they are more expensive, and give smaller doughnuts, than the local doughnut shop that everyone goes to (plus they are open 24 hours).
Thier coffee doesn't taste good IMO, and its not cheaper than Speedway. Speedway coffee on the other hand is AMAZING (local gas station chain). They have like 4-5 different roasts, all aribician, super cheap, and a huge amount of stuff you can put into it (syrups, cinnamon, etc). Shits good. Plus every 7th cup you buy is free.
Their pannini's aren't bad though. I do wish they'd serve breakfast all day though. It seems weird that a breakfast/coffee place wouldn't do that, considering I don't know any fast food place that actually serves breakfast past 11-12 or so.

There was gang graffiti in the bathroom and scum everywhere. The place was gross looking. And they had the audacity to sell sandwiches made AT THE PLACE there. No thanks.
Coffee discussion? I used to be a massive coffee fan. I have a wooden coffee grinder and get my beans from a local roastery. Back in high school, I used to drink coffee all the time but I just don't have the time anymore. The coffee on the office is godawful shit and is pretty much the same as drinking a coffee-flavoured laxative.
The best thing I ever had was Jamaican Blue Mountain. My dad was on a business trip to jamaica and he brought loads of it for the shelf price of the european coffee. Shit was so cash. Until a few years ago, we still had some in the freezer
i don't like hot drinks they burn my tongue and stuff :C
I put milk in mine to keep it from getting hot as shit.
I know some places make their coffee so hot you could probably KILL somebody by pouring a cup on their faces. :v:

Yeah most gas stations are pretty nasty but speedway is pretty fucking sweet, you'd never guess
They also sell bob evans sausage biscut sandwitches for like $1.79 or so, cheaper than mcy'ds or tim hortons and tastes better IMO

Most of the gas stations around here are alright and well-kept, actually. Then again, I live in a town on the interstate, so it's mainly just gas station + restaurant comboes.

The place in South Carolina was literally right off the interstate. Like you go up the exit ramp, and there it is. It was a Kangaroo's I believe.

I remember back when I went to Brazil we stopped at a gas station in the middle of fucking nowhere, on one of those mountain roads where it's just a road covered in lots of those reflective thingies and a "carving" through the dense trees to accommodate it

Just my quick two pence (yes I'm English, mostly). Hot chocolate is the shit, and amongst the general gay chat consensus, what would you consider lightweight? I generally consume 5 drinks of any kind (normal drinks I.e. Mixers and cocktails) and I'm tipsy, anything between 7-10 to be happily drunk, and I'm unsure on comatose as ive never ventured that far.
