I have a prescription for some but I don't know if I should buy it unless I'm sure it's going to make me SUPER HAPPY AND JOYFUL all the time, minus the side effects.
And its my moms birthday today, yay.
a friend was on them for a while but said the side effects were worse than the depression

My sister is on them and when she doesn't take them things happen. 1. She can't or wont get out of bed 2. She gets angry enough that you wonder how safe it is to be near and 3. Self destructive.
If your doctor has told you to take them you should take them if the side effects are really bad talk to your doctor and tell him/her what its doing theres different sorts of drugs that can work for you and some that will fuck you up. My sister has been threw more medications then they prob telll me but as far as I'm aware shes doing the best she has been in years. Apart from not having a carrer and stuff but clearly from what I've said she is really sick.

Antridepressants act differently on everyone. You may find a common effect but everyone will deal with them differently.
Just out of curiosity, does anyone else hate taking pills?
I haven't taken panadol since I was 7 or so.. I just do my best to avoid them. Not really sure why.

Thats good if you take them more then you need to you need more when you really need them. I know of a few drug addicts that had to have major surgery the pain drugs didn't work very well and they needed tohave more and it wasn't becuawe of the addiction they were clean at the time.

I don't mind taking medicines in any way. Pills to be honest are the fastest way to.

A kid at school used to take several panadols a day for like.. months on end... then I looked it up and found saw if you get used to taking them, when you dont it'll cause headaches.. told his mum and she cut him off lol

I've dropped ecstasy, and I never had problems drinking cold and flu syrups as a kid.. but yeah I've got a weird stigma about medicinal pills..

dry pills yes, the worst is taking them down WITH a liquid and they still get stuck
sugar pills hell no, i can swallow them without a drop of saliva in my mouth

And to make up for that, have this: The guy I have a crush on (my best friend) "confessed" to me last tuesday, that he suspects himself of being bisexual. He's also told me that he has got feelings for me which are stronger than just friendship. So yeah, things are starting to look good for me.

I'm almost 21. I actually had friends in high school, but I was addicted to the computer and had hardcore anxiety issues, so I dropped out and basically became a hermit for the past 4 years.

Reconnect with your high school friends, or middle or elementary even. It's not as hard to "make" friends this way because you guys already know each other. All the hard stuff is taken care of.
That's what helped me get back in the social game again.

i never got this, none of my schools had any groups like that, everyone just liked each and talked to each other.
If some autistic kid started talking to some sporty guys, they wouldn't abuse him or whatever, they'd be nice to him but try to distance themselves

But once you get used to it dry pills are awesome, you can basically take them anywhere without aid.

Ah haha I did alright in highschool everyone was aweful at video ganes so I just beat the shit outta them in shit like call of duty. Its great fun.

I don't really talk to my high school friends any more except my roommate who I met there. They sort of stopped caring it was strange. I should message some of them now that I've changed almost completely in the last year.
