How can anyone think that people who draw just decided one day to pick up a paper and draw a masterpiece? Drawing is a skill like any other, and natural talent only gets you so far. A good artist will practice and strive towards improvement regardless of starting level.

Look at my deviant art, I don't think my drawings are hot shit, but I sure as hell think I've improved a ton since I started about a year ago.
Don't expect to get good after your first drawing, or ever your 50th. There's nothing to it but practice and learning some basic principles, just like anything else.
Draw shapes, perfect your technique, learn the basics. Before you know it you'll be on the right track.
I'd give you more advice but a 16 y/o on fp is not exactly proper tutoring. you should probably head over to the creative work thread in cc, those guys have given me a ton of great resources.

Truly I am living the ideal life.
The only actual drawing i can do are refernce drawings. Where i can essentially recreate models. I'm not fantastic, but the only part of the human anatomy i'm actually decent at (oddly enough) are hands.
Normally aren't hands like the bane of artists due to how complex they get?
I drew these 2 years ago for an art class i had where we had to model our hands in sign language then draw them. Again i'm not boasting here, i recognize they're better than your average teen's drawings of hands but even i can see they need significant improvement.

Also they look oddly skinny and odd around the joints mostly not because i can't draw but because i used my own hands which are very oddly shaped and very skinny and long. So the joints do bulge out like that
