last thread i did a lot but now i just feel like i've rarely got worthwhile stuff to say
Speaking of interesting, i completely blanked today while using my laptop in class. I installed Fedora on my laptop but messed up the installation of nvidia drivers since laptops use optimus, which is something that allows laptops to have 2 video cards, a dedicated and internal. My bios didn't allow me to turn it off so when i rebooted after swapping drivers, the UI crashed and i would be stuck in command line mode and had to manually install all this software and edit things through it so it'd load directly into my dedicated card. Except i did something wrong and it wouldn't work so i decided to just boot into windows and clear the partition and reinstall fedora.
However, i was in my last class of the day and decided to get a head start with the partition, so i cleared it but before i set my windows partition as primary boot i started writing some stuff down and my laptop went to sleep and kept trying to boot into fedora as the empty partition was still set as boot. Had loads of fun trying to remove the cmos on my laptop but finally got to it, and was able to boot into fedora and reinstall it via usb.

I did this once while I was at my girlfriend of the times house. I ended up having to use her laptop to download Ubuntu and install it, just until I could get home.
She wasn't very happy that I spent the best part of an hour fixing it.

You strike me as the kind of person that kind of lays on heavily like that and would do such a thihg a thing. Learn to control yourself, ask about him, don't focus on yourself. I know it's hard but take a break about thinking about yourself and just ask him how his day is or something.

i would think about it from a different approach; if your "best friend" isn't willing to listen to your problems, he (or she i dunno) mustn't have been a very good friend to you to start with
that's my view on it anyway, if i were you i would use the situation as an opportunity to meet someone better as opposed to dwelling on it
i also agree with the post above, if you were pressuring him too much to care about you, you should maybe consider his feelings and his life (if you haven't been doing that already)
