Once when I stopped to sit at a bus stop when I was taking a late walk, I noticed this old guy looking at me through a window. He had the most intense stare I've ever seen, and he kept staring at me like that the whole time I sat there.

Because me and my family aren't made of money, and I was upgrading from a shitty Nextar 512MB MP3 player?
Because I didn't need all the bells and whistles of every nifty new device?
Because I'm not one of those people who, as soon as something becomes "not the best", throws it out?
Because this is the first technology-related thing my mom has bought me that isn't a piece of crap? I mean, I don't even "own" my computer, this PC is school-owned and my mom's so damn cheap she won't buy me my own, and I'm too young to get a job.
Not to mention, they are not the same price, this was a refurbished 32GB I got for 179.99$, while a brand new 16GB of the same generation would have cost me 200$. A brand new iPod Touch 32GB 5th generation costs 300$.
How is that the same price?

I'm not mad or anything, but I got the impression he was one of those people who, as soon as a new iPod/iPhone comes out, rushes to the store to get it. I mean, I see no reason in doing that, if your old device still works, why waste an additional 300-400$ for a few more features that will likely have little impact on your daily life?

To clarify, Wal-Mart was selling fourth generation 32GB iPod touch's for $299. They had a couple of the fifth generation 32GB iPod touch's hidden in the back, so you had to specifically ask for it or they tried to sell you the fourth generation. So they sold my mom a fourth generation 32GB for $299, so she took it back and told them to give her the correct version and they did. I was just trying to inform you if that was the case. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Well, here they aren't sold at the same price (though I have no idea where you find that kind of sale, it would've been awesome if the 5th generation had been marked down here. Oh well.), but I'm quite happy with it. It's like an iPhone without the monthly data charges :v:
