So I guess nintendo can prove it doesn't matter if the hardware is less better than PS4 or xbox one.
It might be cartoon-y different from the "Muh realism" ps4 and XBOX ONE sometimes has, but the detail they just put in it just makes the game complete and lovely.
This has incredible graphics, the first time I saw that Luigi gif I actually thought it was some fan animation.

I'm really glad that the share-to-youtube feature of MK8 allows for the showing of all these cool gifs and whatnot. With the yearlong marketing campaign they got set up, we can definitely expect more of this (or possibly being picked up by nintendo even, they've done so before)
