Doge's fatal flaw is that somehow it became dumbed down to a basic template.
In a lot of the original doge pictures it'd be a random dog in a human environment, like a college class, saying things like "lerning is powr", and it was great. Eventually they all ended up being one basic formula, "such x, much y, wow". The lack of originality and skill in the resulting images dropped the quality of the jokes drastically. Compare it to those advice animal memes, or anything of that sort. It's all the same formula, but with different things plugged into it. The rise of meme-making websites also led to poorly made memes since they were now something any ten-year-old with a computer could do.
Things like these Luigi videos require a bit more. First, you need to fuck someone up in the new Mario Kart. Second, you have to record it properly. And finally, you have to put it in a video editor and put rap music over it. Unless someone makes a website that can do this super fast, or if it ends up being just one song in every video, the videos will stay unique enough to be charming and legitimately funny.

Do you suppose it would be possible to upload it to YouTube straight from the game, download the video using one of those fancy-schmancy YouTube downloaders, and then edit it as you please?
I know next to nothing about video editing, but that seems like it'd be fairly straightforward.
