Think of it this way, the guys that escorted you out of the meeting must of thought you're a real piece of work because of what she said. If you did nothing wrong, which it really sounds like you didn't, you shouldn't let her go around tarnishing your good name. You could tell her something alone the lines of. "Hey, I don't like what you're implying about me to others. We had a conversation and I mentioned some things that I did in my youth and I think that maybe you think that I was trying to pick up on you which I wasn't because you're a prude and you're not very good looking. You'll cease with this behavior or I'll be sure to let everyone on campus know that you make up stories about others to slander them." Hows that?

There was an older woman (Her superior?) who happened to be there. The woman said that I should just stay away from her, give her some space and not go to anymore of their meetings. There was also another member of public safety who herd my conversation. I told him exactly what had happen. He too suggested that I stay away from her. That is exactly what I intend to do. Stay away from her, at least for a few months, and hopefully she'll forgive me when the next semester starts, if not, all I can say is "Wow." I never thought that she thought that I was trying to hit on her, but I think calling her an unattractive prude would've been counterproductive, especially with her superior standing right there in the room.

This is why I felt that you should not have apologized in the fist place thus admitting guilt on your part.
