Unfortunately they'd probably be yelling and complaining and blaming Hillary for everything for the next 4 years, but I suppose that's a lot better than Trump winning in my opinion.

they'll just make up conspiracy theories.
No poll yet, but:
I think that Trump's biggest gaffe tonight was just refusing to stop bringing up his "stop and frisk" plan, even after the moderator told him it was ruled unconstitutional and was basically a non-starter.
Worse yet, he kept interrupting with "NOPE" even when he was blatantly in the wrong throughout the whole debate. On top of looking even more childish and immature than usual, his lies are at least not so desperate sounding and blatant usually.
Yeah, you're probably pretty darn right in saying that Facepunch is not exactly a balanced intersection of the American public -- not the least of which is because we're an international forum. This forum tends to lean left.
More to the point, the fact that Facepunch leans left is wholly immaterial to how Trump performed in the debate. Not watching the debate, going through this thread, and saying you are "dubious" about the reaction because we don't represent the American public doesn't actually matter because most people (I think) weren't saying he was doing bad because we love Clinton and the Democrats but because he actually performed pretty poorly.
If you are saying that Trump supporters are delusional enough to vote for him anyway then again, no shit Sherlock but I don't understand why you would make such claims before even preliminary polls are come out unless you are personally invested in making sure Trump comes out looking better.
You know, we should have our in-depth post-debate fact-checking conducted by a hearing of the House Oversight Committee. I'd pay to watch that shit.
Online poll numbers have them neck and neck.
This is horrifying how is trump doing this well
I just don't understand how anyone could think Trump wasn't absolutely slaughtered in that 'debate'.
- He constantly interrupted and acted like an infant, which to be fair, Clinton joined in with at the start before she realised that she could stop talking and he would dig himself into such a big hole that he almost outsourced himself to China. His interruptions were even quite detrimental to his image, such as interjecting "that makes me smart" about not paying his federal income tax
- All of his talking points went either: A) Nowhere, B) In circles, or C) Nowhere and in circles, and then he's stealing more time and stopping Lester from moving things along to just repeat what he's said for the last 5 minutes
- He also admitted to "using the laws of the nation", as well as not paying his contracted workers and was basically honest about being a total fucking crook
- When he wasn't admitting to doing something that was illegal, unethical and un-presidential, he was denying his most ridiculous and very, very well documented claims about global warming being a hoax and his support for the Iraq war
WHICH REMINDS ME ABOUT HOW HE HONESTLY SUGGESTED THE U.S. SHOULD EXTORT IT'S ALLIES AND STEAL OTHER COUNTRY'S OIL
Please, just somebody who thinks that this debate wasn't incredibly one-sided, post how you think Trump did well. Was it the Cyber bit? Because he has a point there, the Cyber is tough.

Online? Then it's probably being bombarded by /pol/
Trump supporters are all useful idiots who blindly follow everything he says and does
This is why they're close in online polls, trumps cult will actively flood all online polls they can to make him seem like he's doing better

"The hill shills illuminati hacked the votes :tinfoil:" or something like that. I honestly wouldn't be surprised.

I mean for the lot of the shit Trump said you could just google yourself.
Pretty much guarantee you every time he said "wrong" or "I didn't say that" he was lying.

Don't forget how he responded to the Housing Crisis bit as "just business" or was implying that he was okay with abusing loopholes.
EDIT: Like, hell, I'm normally a strong critic of Clinton's focus on how she is "NOT TRUMP" instead of actually talking policy, but after tonight's debate, Trump's blatant lying ("NOPE") on top of his casually dismissive attitude towards his skeevy and slimy business practices would even have convinced me that "NOT TRUMP" is a good enough platform to run on had Clinton just gone by the rules instead of trying to manipulate people through backroom dealings with the likes of DWS, Correct the Record, etc.
High voter turnout is crucial to keep Trump from getting the 270 electoral votes. So go vote fellow democrats.

news outlet polls are selective in choosing people right? so that should be most representative
What I don't get about the stop and frisk is that even if it works it's morally objectionable. I'm sure crime would also be lowered if the country was turned in to a police state but that doesn't mean it should be done.
If this were a movie, the narrator would now be saying "So the battle was won, but there would be no celebrations that night"
Because you guys still need to vote for Hillary

Honestly if you vote for either of these two dolts you're an idiot, neither of them are worth it.
Is /pol/ actually for Trump? I thought it was sarcasm or irony or whatever from them.
"The hill shills illuminati hacked the votes :tinfoil:" or something like that. I honestly wouldn't be surprised.
trump already said a while ago that it was already decided, or something of that note. so I know they'll twist that into saying that 'he knew he would lose, but kept fighting against that snake hillary for us!'
Is /pol/ actually for Trump? I thought it was sarcasm or irony or whatever from them.
/pol/ is a massive hugbox of the alt-right
They are completely serious in their horrible ideology
"Super delusional" is how I would describe trump supporters
Yea, judging people you don't fully understand as "super delusional" is really ignorant.
Online poll numbers have them neck and neck.

Looking at /pol/, it looks like they're scrambling to post and rig a bunch of polls with the stated goal of influencing undecideds through bandwagoning. Like, there are actual, verbatim cries of "FIX IT FIX IT" over Hillary winning and people explicitly saying "WE HAVE TO RIG THESE POLLS!"
It's embarrassing.
CNN poll is coming out now
Is /pol/ actually for Trump? I thought it was sarcasm or irony or whatever from them.
/pol/ lost the irony a loooong time ago, man
So when all the online polls show that Trump won, are we going to believe them because we refused to believe that similar polls were once skewed to Bernie? Both of them could not be more different, but they both had large hordes of internet people skewing every possible poll.
lol can literally say the same about Hillary and her followers

i'm not voting for hillary because I like her, I'm voting for her because I'm not fucking suicidal
