Is /pol/ actually for Trump? I thought it was sarcasm or irony or whatever from them.
its a bit of both im sure. poe's law comes into effect. when /pol/ first came out, it was just ironic as shit, but then it attracted actual people who believe in the stuff.
CNN poll: 62% Clinton, 27% Trump
However, they cautioned that their sample skewed Democratic
Yea, judging people you don't fully understand as "super delusional" is really ignorant.
If theres one thing you're right about its that I definitely dont understand Trump supporters
i'm not voting for hillary because I like her, I'm voting for her because I'm not fucking suicidal
That is fucking stupid.
I just don't understand how anyone could think Trump wasn't absolutely slaughtered in that 'debate'.
- He constantly interrupted and acted like an infant, which to be fair, Clinton joined in with at the start before she realised that she could stop talking and he would dig himself into such a big hole that he almost outsourced himself to China. His interruptions were even quite detrimental to his image, such as interjecting "that makes me smart" about not paying his federal income tax
- All of his talking points went either: A) Nowhere, B) In circles, or C) Nowhere and in circles, and then he's stealing more time and stopping Lester from moving things along to just repeat what he's said for the last 5 minutes
- He also admitted to "using the laws of the nation", as well as not paying his contracted workers and was basically honest about being a total fucking crook
- When he wasn't admitting to doing something that was illegal, unethical and un-presidential, he was denying his most ridiculous and very, very well documented claims about global warming being a hoax and his support for the Iraq war
WHICH REMINDS ME ABOUT HOW HE HONESTLY SUGGESTED THE U.S. SHOULD EXTORT IT'S ALLIES AND STEAL OTHER COUNTRY'S OIL
Please, just somebody who thinks that this debate wasn't incredibly one-sided, post how you think Trump did well. Was it the Cyber bit? Because he has a point there, the Cyber is tough.
The problem is winning a debate isn't appealing to already decided voters, it is winning votes from undecided people or people on the fence without losing any of your own people. Clinton may have appealed more to you as someone already dedicated to never vote Trump, but a majority of undecided voters aren't people in your exact mindset. Undecided voters may happen to have appealed more to Trump's overall net gain due to his specific tactics which may further alienate the lost voter demographics, but done no harm other than cutting off what was already dead of the target audience.
tl;dr Actually winning a debate isn't about the debate itself, but rather how it affects the voters and creates results.
lol can literally say the same about Hillary and her followers
Honestly if you vote for either of these two dolts you're an idiot, neither of them are worth it.
If you're going to have such a juvenile attitude about it, then why don't you move to Russia where the "democracy" is a blatant shame.

Why would they do this?
If theres one thing you're right about its that I definitely dont understand Trump supporters
If you don't understand something are you really qualified to speak about the subject?
That is fucking stupid.
Thread title should be changed, this was neither presidential nor a debate.
That is fucking stupid.
Holy shit what a compelling argument, put this one on the mantle next to Thlis' "Retards are still going to vote Trump so I don't think he lost that badly guys"
I'm going to bed because, someone call RIPBILLYMAYS and make sure he makes it home alive.

point by point rebuttal:
1: he demonstrated that he doesnt play by the rules! he doesnt concern himself with the nonsense of rules and guidelines because he knows that the rules are what got america into this mess!
2: his talking points were a masterful assertion of his maverick personality! hes stealing time from lester because he knows that lester is a hillary shill! he knows that the odds are unfairly stacked against him so he evened the odds by forcing his point across! this is the type of no-nonsense candidate we need!
3: he admitted that the laws didnt work! laws that got us into this mess!
4: again, the media just made fabrications because theyre afraid that trump is gonna actually win! the media is owned by hillary shills, believe me.
this is why trump won and if u dont get it then obviously youre blinded by the media shills
make america great again and god bles
I guess it's true that the mainstream media lies, cus CNN's poll has been 'minutes away' for nearly an hour now

I just don't understand how anyone could think Trump wasn't absolutely slaughtered in that 'debate'.
I noticed, while I was watching, that I paid a lot less attention to what Trump said than what Clinton said, except when he was clearly fucking up. If the same holds true for people with the opposite existing-bias as me, they could easily just be remembering the points that Trump scored, and forget all about the times he fumbled or all the points Clinton scored.
Also, a lot of Trump supporters are motivated by tribalism and display of power. Trump spent time doing things focused on that - saying he'll release his tax returns if Hillary releases the deleted emails, for instance. An independent would think "he's finding an excuse to not release his tax returns", a Hillary supporter would think "he's trying to force the emails to be a scandal even though they clearly aren't", but a Trump supporter would think "he just called out Hillary on keeping secrets".
I do think Clinton overall did better, but I can see how people who want Trump to have won can find ways to think he's won.

But why would they do this if they knew their sample was skewed?

What the fuck kind of fantasy land are you living in? We're deciding the president here, not the galactic dictator!

You would be a lot more convincing if you didn't act like a jerk to everyone you disagree with.
I mean I can't fucking restate my position any further than I already have. I think I've done it 5 times in this thread. As far as I can see it is pretty reasonable.
We are viewing this from a left perspective. The US is going to view this from a right perspective. Our reaction, and the US reaction, is going to have some difference.
