You Americans and your romanticism about revolutions Didn't you know that change is best when evolutionary and enacted incrementally most of the shittest changes in the last 100 years have been because some chucklefuck decided that they wanted to be a romantic revolutionary and take a huge gamble with something At least in Britain our revolution was unrevolutionary and as such cannot be romanticised. Thank you, Glorious Revolution
Yeah, maybe if you can't account for and correct them. This is a skewed sample that they were totally aware of, and yet they still post their poll like it's "THE results." Good statisticians and data scientists know that if a statistic isn't validated to the best of their ability, it should be thrown in the trash to avoid tainting people's minds with inaccurate data.
They said it was skewed. The entire field of econometrics is based on no study being "true" but representing an approximation of the truth. Everything has a caveat, and it's ok to publish it as the closest thing we can get to the truth at the moment as long as said caveat is disclosed. I'm writing a thesis that will correlate Airbnb demand with evictions, and my conclusion will inevitably say "... but also housing market fluctuations can affect this too", and that's ok.

Thank you, Glorious Revolution
nah man youre just a pussy!!!!!!!!!!
I missed the debate because I had to sleep. What were the best/worst parts and who "won"?
The best part was when Trump went on about how he has a great temperament, the audience laughed, and when he was done talking Hillary just went "WHOO. Okay."
I missed the debate because I had to sleep. What were the best/worst parts and who "won"?
best and worst parts: literally all of it who won: clinton
This is real rich coming from you
Alright, about 90% of the time I don't say off the wall shit. Sometimes sleep deprivation gets to me though, I will admit it. I respect you.
I missed the debate because I had to sleep. What were the best/worst parts and who "won"?
Clinton won by most measures. Trump was best on trade and near the beginning in general Clinton was best on Trump's taxes, but other than that she was just okay - mostly she was best just keeping quiet and let Trump destroy himself Trump was best at digging himself into holes and basically going round in circles, not saying anything and arguing with the moderator
I did not go to Ivy League, but I did study econometrics.
Did you go to an unaccredited college like Trump University? Because you've clearly shown that you have a pretty poor grasp on some fairly basic economic principles.
This is a very serious disclosure that may be viewed by millions of people; I think it requires a few extra measures of scrutiny besides "our sample group was skewed, but here's the results anyway" because they wanted to get their numbers out before anyone else.
They delayed their results for how long? They disclosed their skew. They're probably still collecting data Their results might be an outlier currently, but they still follow the results from other panels/models/polls. Fixating on CNN less than optimal data isn't going to make Trump's debate performance any less abysmal
I missed the debate because I had to sleep. What were the best/worst parts and who "won"?
trump getting laughed at by the audience when he said he had the temperament to be president trump admitting to dodging federal taxes and cheating the system trump saying the woman he called "little ms. piggy" deserved it and no one felt sorry for her trump congratulating himself for not calling bill clinton a rapist braggadocious
thank you so much [t]http://i.imgur.com/GHkJC0o.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/wt6QDRn.png[/t] Lester the Cuckster That's a new one
pvt martin is a whole new level of weirdo fanatic
I missed the debate because I had to sleep. What were the best/worst parts and who "won"?
Trump made the mistake of continuing to lie about things that everyone had already extensively established the truth about, spewed a great deal of rhetoric and bluster while Hillary stayed professional and stuck to the details of her policies, lost his temper several times, and got laughed at by the audience, which couldn't contain itself for half the debate. Overall a shitshow, but Hillary came out on top. Her critics say she sounded too robotic.
I missed the debate because I had to sleep. What were the best/worst parts and who "won"?
Trump thinks "bigly" is a word, is proud that he never admitted he was guilty of discrimination, and bragged about cheating on his taxes and declaring bankruptcy. It wasn't a landslide but Trump clearly came out behind, although the Trump supporters are delusional as normal.
The best part was when Trump went on about how he has a great temperament, the audience laughed, and when he was done talking Hillary just went "WHOO. Okay."
my favorite part was when trump argued with lester for 5 minutes straight about racism
My biggest worry now: How can the other two debates possibly be as entertaining as this one was?

The question becomes, do you become politically active and involved in your local area, join an interest group promoting an important issue, or do you just bitch about how terrible the country is and how great it would be if the ignorant sheeple turned off their idiot boxes and marched on D.C.?

They're why this country and world is turning into a disaster.
pvt martin is a whole new level of weirdo fanatic
He's "sticking it to the man" by voting for Trump since Bernie didn't win so in other words he's a moron
My biggest worry now: How can the other two debates possibly be as entertaining as this one was?
we still have the wall, Muslims, and immigration in general to talk about
I missed the debate because I had to sleep. What were the best/worst parts and who "won"?
A conscious human being would say Clinton won. My favorite part was the 20 minutes that began with cyber-security and morphed into a foreign policy/defense discussion where Trump made several bizarre comments, like how Russia has a more advanced military than us, that ISIS is beating us, that we have to work with NATO, that China should "go into North Korea and do something", and that we will not honor our peace treaties unless our allies pay us money to make up for our debt, most of which is owned by Americans. I always knew foreign policy was the weakest part of Trumps platform and he proved this abundantly.
My biggest worry now: How can the other two debates possibly be as entertaining as this one was?
The VP debate will put Pence's batshit insane traditional conservatism on full blast, so that at least might be interesting.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/GHkJC0o.png[/t]
"Lester the Cuckster" Does he even listen to himself Like how did he ever delude himself into thinking that this name is deserved let alone ok
A political process that's broken and all a sham? Smoke and mirrors? Sure be part of a process that's nothing but a joke. Your vote doesn't mean shit in a general presidential election, maybe in a local state election for governors or congressional representatives, but for president? No, the winner was determined long before anyone announced they were running, it's going to be Hillary and it always was going to be Hillary.
Then so be it. It does me no harm to go out and vote even if the system is rigged. You gain no moral high ground over anyone by abstaining from voting. You say it's a circus, and I'll vote on the faith that it isn't. Because if it's real, then mine and every other vote for Hillary is a vote against Trump. If it's a sham, then whatever. If you're a bitter Bernie supporter, then let me just say I voted for Bernie too. But Bernie himself said what is ultimately key here: you don't have to outright win to influence and help change the system. Even if the voting system itself is rigged, it's by those same votes that we can still help de-rig it.
I'm not expecting rioting if Clinton wins; she is shady, but not divisive like Trump is. As much as I don't think she deserved to win after her BS with DWS/DNC, Correct the Record, etc, I think people will get over it on election night if she wins as opposed to taking up riots. People will be pissed for sure, some for rightful reasons, but nobody outside of some fringe and obscure minority of people will care that much so as to take up violence or unrest. If Trump wins, I could very easily see riots as most of his whole platform is based around divisiveness instead of unity.
It may be that my perception is misrepresentative, but everything I've seen so much from the right this year (from online, in my hometown, to rightwing media) suggests that there is a real, apparent radicalization going on within the republican party. For example, remember how the republican's feverent attacks on Planned Parenthood directly inspired R.L. Dear to commit a mass shooting? Or after how Brexit passed, racist attacks exploded across the island? The extreme right wing has only been further emboldened by Trump's campaign, and I genuinely fear that attacks reminiscent of this will happen all across the country.

Also you could be more honorable and let me know you posted my PM to be smeared by everybody rather than do it behind my back. That said since I'm here my two cents. Hillary got Rekt, Trump was cool despite a 2 vs 1 debate, and FP is still biased (mostly) as hell against anyone who supports Trump. Two more debates folks.
