Apparentely some military analysts claim that a modified MIG variant is able to beat our F-35's, and even our F-22's, but I'm not entirely sure how a war would play out between the powers. It could go either way. It's impossible to really know who's more advanced as most of the stuff is classified anyways!
China's cyber attack systems are way more elaborate than ours, and they're constantly stealing valuable information from US companies and whatnot. The US is really bad at doing targeted attacks, as the NSA's philosophy is just to collect everything. Do you know how hard it is to sift through EXABYTES of data?
