Omg I forgot that Martin used to be a Bernie bro. I remember now, though. You tried for months to rationalize voting for Trump over Clinton, arguing that he was really just a secret democrat, that all his positions were just being twisted and exaggerated by the media, etc, etc. I see you've full on abandoned any attempt to justify your reasoning and have embraced your roll as a /pol/ shitposter who calls people who disagree with you a "cuck."
Who was that other hardcore berniebro who took a perma a while back, it wasn't fat white lump, his name was just a normal name and a couple of letters after. Boy I wish he was around, he would be a riot
Hillary got Rekt, Trump was cool despite a 2 vs 1 debate, and FP is still biased (mostly) as hell against anyone who supports Trump.
by what metric
because, fundamentally, debates are exchanges of ideas. these exchanges of ideas are judged on by either a group of peers or by the general public. in the case of an american presidential debate, the general public is then the metric to go by in deciding who won the debate.
as demonstrated by smurfy, all reputable focus groups have, in their results, unanimously decided that hillary has won the debate.
so, my question to you is, by what metric has donald won? is america wrong in deciding that hillary has won? what new method has been devised, that none of us are aware of, that decides the winner of a debate?

Right back at'cha.
I like Donald Trump. I think he did well tonight.
I think Trump is proof that the electoral system isn't too corrupt to fix, any reasonably sane corruption wouldn't have allowed him to get to this point.
Corruption is exactly why Donald Trump has a serious possibility of being the next president.
There's a reason people keep comparing Trump to Hitler and neofascism.
It's because people like that show exactly how fragile the civil liberties we pride ourselves on really are.
The reason we compare politicians to people like Hitler is because it's not hard to do the things he did.
History is full of political strongmen who know how to feed off discontent in society to further their own agenda and fuel their ego.
All it takes to topple democracy, are desperate people, difficult times, a convenient scapegoat, and one opportunist with a cult of personality.
The fact that an obscure Austrian corporal named Shicklegruber was able to do what decades of incompetence and corruption could not do to the German government should be sobering.
We like to think that we're different from people in the past, that we know better, but studying history assures me that no matter where or when you live, there are always dangerous opportunists, ready to to use a situation to their advantage.
People will deny or even scoff at such notions. People will say that so and so knows better than to do something so reactionary.
But whenever I hear someone talk about how one person knows what's right for everyone, how one person is the greatest at everything, that no one compares to that one person; that's when I know that this person is a danger to everything we hold dear as free men and women.
And if this sounds cliché, then so be it.
as the debate ends and both candidates leave the stage, pvt martin leaps from his grime-covered bed and lands on the floor, evoking a thump that shakes his fnaf and trump dakimakuras off the bed. he runs to his computer, which already has 5 /pol/ threads auto refreshing, and notices that his modified fp-ticker that detects when someone insults trump is going off the charts. he reads the messages, quickly typing, which seems more like smashing the keys with his sausages, and replying to the trolls and shills of the facepunch internet forum. with every message he reads, he dives into his database of pre-generated zingers and quickly #rekts anyone who dares insult the donald and his plans to make america great again
I'm real baby. You're gonna all see my smug grin come November 9th.
Right I'm gonna leave you all to it, I'd rather save my high energy for other things than talking with a one sided forum that will never accept my opinion.
While you all wallow in some weird self-satisfaction that Pvt. Martin finally back ONCE after weeks so you could all go "GOTCHA" on me, I'm going to be with the few and proud that knows what America needs, and Make America Great Again.
Also as to what a little birdie told me, to all the foreign folks on FP trying to tell us and shame us for voting Trump.
You are not Americans, you have a right to deliver an opinion on this election and to share that opinion, beyond that you should not be trying to shame people like me out of voting for who I choose to god damn vote for, to lead MY god damn country.
Good night, and MAGA.
Sad!
just accidentally voted Trump in the thread poll
for the record I 100% think Hillary won and I know who I'm voting for come November
that is all
Right back at'cha.
he cant even tell sarcasm
oh my god
you're REAL and its ADORABLE
I think both candidates are horrible.
But the liberal tears of Facepunch will be, oh so sweet if trump wins.

If you vote Hillary as a progressive to avoid Trump, you completely miss the point of being a leftie in the first place, validate a system that marginalizes you and a lesser evil false dichotomy that keeps change at bay, and perpetuate your own failures by letting yourself be distracted by electoral politics that inherently serves a set of interests that contradict yours.
Unless you really, really need the token social liberal positions she's offering as concessions, there's no excuse to vote for Hillary this election. She has nothing in common with the left and has an extensive track record of being to the right of someone like Obama.
I vaguely remember(if someone can find the posts pls correct me on this, I think Raidyr was in the thread) Pvt. Martin going on a long spiel about how he was switching from Bernie to Trump because he was tired of being made to feel powerless, or something along those lines.
Seeing him post like this is honestly more sad than funny.

I can't decide if watching your mental breakdown on election night is going to be hilarious or sad.
and for the record, it's really weird how Pvt. Martin supports Trump even though he's gay and Trump's VP running mate is Mike Pence
makes u think......

I'm more looking forward to seeing you cry about the election being rigged while rocking back and forth in your chair whispering "maga" to yourself.
I like Donald Trump. I think he did well tonight.
Be proud of your opinion, no matter what anyone here says.
Corruption is exactly why Donald Trump has a serious possibility of being the next president.
That's not corruption though, that's cult of personality and populism.
The corruption I was referring to was along the lines of candidates being preselected to a point where the public doesn't matter.
Be proud of your opinion, no matter what anyone here says.
Trump is a gross old man with gross policies
Be proud of your opinion, no matter what anyone here says.
So Martin how is Trump supporting LGBT with Pence as VP
please explain right here and right now :^) [and how he plans to sign an LGBT discirmination law]
Be proud of your opinion, no matter what anyone here says.
Do you have a "Make America Great Again" hat?

Here that komodoh? Pvt. Martin agrees with you! Doesn't that just make you swell with confidence?
So Martin how is Trump supporting LGBT with Pence as VP

Didn't he support signing some anti-LGBT bill lately, too?
Be proud of your opinion, no matter what anyone here says.
did you ever even toxx on Trump winning?
Be proud of your opinion, no matter what anyone here says.
Didn't you just say "Goodnight and MAGA"? What happened to that?
Apparentely some military analysts claim that a modified MIG variant is able to beat our F-35's, and even our F-22's, but I'm not entirely sure how a war would play out between the powers. It could go either way.
The F-35 is a pretty mediocre air-superiority fighter, at least on its own. There's some ideas for pairing it with other aircraft to make it a powerful air-to-air combatant but in 1v1 it can't beat an F-15 without the element of surprise. Russian fighters are a lot better solo, but they don't benefit as much from working together with various types.
China's cyber attack systems are way more elaborate than ours, and they're constantly stealing valuable information from US companies and whatnot. The US is really bad at doing targeted attacks, as the NSA's philosophy is just to collect everything. Do you know how hard it is to sift through EXABYTES of data?
The US does have some very powerful offensive capabilities - Stuxnet is widely suspected to have been an NSA weapon, used to disrupt the Iranian nuclear weapons program. And that's just one of the ones we know about because it had some collateral damage and was discovered - there are likely many more we know nothing about.
The dragnet stuff is more counter-terror than cyberwar. Not really useful for attacking computer systems, it's just a way around a few pesky laws they don't feel like following.
