I don't get why people think community service is such a pain in the ass. It's a good thing to do, for yourself and your community, and it gets you a shit load of cash in the form of scholarships.

That's what I'm saying. This thread isn't about how I fucked up it's mainly about how I'm repaying my debts to society and learning my lesson. nobody gets that though because this is general discussion

You're fucking lucky that is all you got. I can't believe you were stupid enough to go back a few more times, get high and drunk and destroy private property. The place might be shut down but someone still owns the building and all the items inside the building. Criminal damaging, Trespass, public intoxication, under the influence of a controlled substance. Depending on the cost of the damage you could easily have got a felony and spend hard time. I bet it was your first time dealing with the law though so i can see why they gave you community service. I suppose everyone deserves [B]one[/B] chance, after that start giving you hard time. However that is just the criminal side, if the owner of that building wants they can come after you though a civil suit. I personally believe you should pay for the damage as well, or pay the owner some type of restitution. I've dealt with people in my custody who are in for lesser crimes then what you did and didn't even get the chance of community service. Also got to put in mind you're a a minor, so they're always doing shit differently when it comes to minors.

How are the people at community service? did you meet other young offenders and stuff there too or is your town peaceful in that you were the only one in that place?
