2011 is the year of gaems
And of course, one of the best games of the year will never come to PC. I'm pretty sure Rockstar has given up on PC ports.
You speak with proper grammar and punctuation. Remember this game is designed for the masses and that makes you in the top 10% on the internet. :v: I'm sure you'll do phenomenal.
This post made my day. :kiddo:
Oh my god that would be fucking amazing. Player A commits a crime and attempts to hide the clues and Player B tries to catch him. I doubt that will happen though.
Good concept, but you need more players, otherwise it would be dead obvious.
This looks so awesome, oh my fucking god. I'm about as excited as I was for Red Dead Redemption, and this looks even better.
I'm annoyed by the absence of a PC icon near the end of that video.
I'm annoyed by the absence of a PC icon near the end of that video.
aaaand here we go
2:02 = Good GOD those facial animations.
Wait, not for PC?!?! Fuck.
I think he meant the cinematics where you interact with characters and clues.
Regardless it's still actual gameplay. Just like Mass Effect 1 and 2 and Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. I get what you're saying though.
Is it going to be on pc?
my guess is they'll do with this exactly what they did with GTA4, release it for PC further down the line. ( at least i fucking hope so )
I'm annoyed by the absence of a PC icon near the end of that video.
Boo hoo Just get a PS3, problems solved. PS3 + PC is the master race.
Looks interesting.
The face movement looks cool, but it kind of looks... off... with the game. Not saying it looks bad. It looks like I'm watching a live action film, but it has the art style of a video game. It looks phenomenal at the same time, though.
I'm going to accuse everyone of lying and let my gun do all the talking.
i thought it was pronounced as Team Bon-dee
He made it sound really challenging and I'm afraid I'll be too stupid to solve the mysteries or something.
I'm worried that it will be too dumbed down and obvious.
the game would only be hard if there were a professional liar which i assume there would be at the transition from Middle>End Game
The facial animations are the best I've ever seen in a game, ever.
Wait, not for PC?!?! Fuck.
Can't blame rockstar they are eternal console devs
They must have gotten pretty good actors for the facial animations, because if the actor was stale, small things like a tiny smirk at the end of a sentence would either be absent or too obvious.
my guess is they'll do with this exactly what they did with GTA4, release it for PC further down the line. ( at least i fucking hope so )
So a year after RDR is released on the PC, which will be never.
Oh my god that would be fucking amazing. Player A commits a crime and attempts to hide the clues and Player B tries to catch him. I doubt that will happen though.
Just throwing this out of no were, but Condemned 2 had something like this. It was greaaat fun. I loved being able to hide in a dark closet, then come out of no were and wack a guy with an axe.
My wallet needs money!
it looks so amazing, i really hope the crimes are actually challenging, i want to be able to actually have to think and take time to solve it instead of just be told to press this button here and that one there
I'm worried that it will be too dumbed down and obvious.
I agree. I'm concerned that they'll think (probably correctly) that most of the target audience will take one look at the game and say "Critical thinking? Laaaaaaaaame. I just want losta pew pew!"
God that face scanning. At one time, it looked incredibly real because of the expression that no video game has ever cared to capture. Pre-ordered. (To be completely honest, games set in the 1950's like this sort of annoy me, so for me to like this one is saying a lot. Good job Rockstar!)
If more game studios used this I'd cum like every time I bought a game [editline]10th February 2011[/editline]
Wait, not for PC?!?! Fuck.
oh boo fucking hoo get over it
Oh boy I can't wait to get my hands on this.
my guess is they'll do with this exactly what they did with GTA4, release it for PC further down the line. ( at least i fucking hope so )
They didn't do it with RDR. I doubt they'll do it with this. GTA series have always found their way to the PC right from the start, but this is a new title so I don't think they'll use the same concept. In other news: It's fucking amazing how they got the muscles all the way to the neck moving realistically.
