The faces are so scarily real. I can't help but think if people looked that good in GTA I might feel a little bad about running them down...nah actually I probably wouldn't. I think the actual rendering of the faces could do with some work though.
Stop bitching about no PC version Rockstar did not fucking develop this aaaaaaaaaaaaaa
The voices are too perfect in addition to the facial animation.
It feels out of place when he speaks, the quality is like you're right next to him when he's running through the bank shooting a shotgun.
I cannot stop agreeing with this
Cole's voice seems out of place. It's the only problem I've found in any of the videos. If they toned the pitch down to match the placement of the character in relation to the camera, it would seem a lot better.
my wallet isn't ready for this game
I can't believe the facial animations will be used while you're controlling the character and shooting.
This looks lovely, but the lack of a PC release for this (or indeed RDR) annoys me. I'm not buying a fucking console, no matter how much games publishers obviously want me to do so.
waah waah
Holy moley, think I've just been blown away by those facial animations...
I'm going to pass on Bulletstorm and most likely Duke Nukem. I need to save some cash for this, Skyrim, Battlefield 3, and some others.
Hopefully Rockstar won't have a depressing as fuck ending on this game.
Seriously they need to stop writing terribly sad endings to their games to make them feel more "real"
I want to feel good that I finished the game, not terrible that I have to live with all the shit I caused through what I thought was fun.
He made it sound really challenging and I'm afraid I'll be too stupid to solve the mysteries or something.
I would like a hard game for me. It would be annoying for me if items would highlight and game would "think" for you - "I need to take this, put it there, then go to this guy and ask him" - I don't want such hints, I want to think it out for myself.
Like in Fallout New Vegas a quest where you had to find 4 artists to do acts for a show. Their precise locations are automatically shown on your map altrough in the game universe you have no idea where to find them other than find them by accident.

There will probably be a Hard difficulty setting or something with less to no hints.

What game other than [sp]RDR[/sp] had a depressing ending?
Holy shit, those facial animations are amazing!
I wonder what techniques they've used.
If anyone finds a technical video, let me know.

gta iv.
They sure have come along way sense the first trailer around two years ago
No PC version, just like RDR. I'm getting mad at Rockstar now for copping out. If GTA IV shows any indication, it seems like engine technical difficulties.

This has been shown a lot.

It reminds me a lot of Heavy Rain for some reason. That's not a bad thing.
Stop confusing publishers and developers. Rockstar has nothing to do with the development of the game.
its like those crappy live action cut scenes in some games but NOT.
:psyduck:

Except it uses the same engine and has the same free-roam style as GTA and RDR.

"Upcoming game of 2010"
How do we know things haven't changed?

Because release dates are usually the ones changing, not game's engines. But yes, you are still correct.
Anyone seen the show "Lie to me" starring Tim Roth as Cal Lightman?
Yeah, I'm a deception expert now.

So no euphoria?:frown:
Looks like I chose the right time to get a job, 2011, here I come.
So no euphoria?:frown:
Looking over the video at the gunfights, it looks nothing like Euphoria. The animation transitions are much choppier, which really disappoints me, because I don't think I can ever look at other animation the same way again.
Animation really seems to be one of this game's strong points, so have Euphoria would just seal the deal.
I thought it looked exactly like Euphoria, but the animations doesn't look too bad either.
Of course, this game will shine in its facial animations.
