A lot of furries use their costumes as a coping mechanism for serious anxiety issues that can't be easily solved.
Anxiety can be cured with something called cognitive behavioral therapy.
its hard to watch these people and not want to go find one and try to help get their life on track like "sorry dude you are not a fox or whatever youre a human. grow up." this has to be a disorder like people born into the wrong gender. maybe we need to try transplanting furries brains into the various animals they identify as... it would be the only humane thing to do. morons
Personally I wouldnt really care, but I imagine some people would
this is the disconnect with reality folks. shame teaches us when we are doing something stupid or weird. listen to this instinct. adult humans are required to be productive in society, interact with their peers and strive to learn and connect with their surroundings. we didn't evolve for 100,000 years for you to dress up like a wolf. when you have a weird obsession/"hobby" like this you are going to justify it by whatever means necessary. "oh i dont care those people are the ones with the problem. theyre just judging me" yes. yes they are. look at yourself. ugh
I'd like to make the point this is not just some hobby. this is a social disorder. when you think it's ok as an adult in this society to spend thousands of your hard earned dollars on a fursuit that physically and mentally removes you from the world to hide in your 'animal fursona' (lol) you have something wrong in your brain im sorry. when you need to flaunt how much you love being a furry (mental defective) by dressing up in public and displaying your strange sexual fantasies (bordering on bestiality) that's when you know you need to see a therapist. it's not like you're the guy in the park with a yo-yo or those weird toe-shoes doing your thing.. ok whatever those are nerdy or weird but like everyone has their thing. this is like my little pony level though. youre basically worse than a brony
Am I the only one who doesn't find this as creepy as people here do?
I mean, it's unusual, yeah, but I don't see it as anything beyond the novelty of seeing a guy in a costume walking around people.
If I didn't have enough internet experience, I would think "Ah, that guy is dressed as a cat, how funny".
Imo, it would be creepy if the guy carried a gun or suddenly started doing weird shit.
