It's alriiight, it's okaaaaay, there's something to live fooooor, jeeeesus told me sooo
Uncle Bill is awesome. Sad that he died though.
Some others I liked have already been mentioned, but another one I liked is an oldie- "Harlan County, USA". It's about a community of miners attempting to fight back against the activities of their mine company who blocked their attempts to unionize. The company kept their workers in shit condition and gave them very little, despite very considerable yearly profit increases. The documentary was filmed in the midst of this happening, how the company reacted against them, and some other really interesting aspects.

WWII documentaries
American Hardcore (Informative, showed some great lesser-known punk bands)

March of the Penguins (Strangely captivating, go figure)
No image, I'm pretty sure all you guys know this film.
And many more I don't feel like adding.. Oh, and I liked Sicko by Michael Moore.

I loved it, I usually like shocking movies like this.
Food Inc was horrible imo
Jesus Camp was a good one. I also like The Edge of the Universe.
I've been watching WWII documentaries since I was 14. Something about all the stuff that happened and all the crazy prototypes that makes it the most interesting war. For me it was the last "real" war.
Bowling columbine was interesting, Sicko was o.k.
I also like programs on robotics and "robotification"of humans(cyborgs, implants, prosthetics etc).
Big fan of Myhtbusters also(even if it's more entertainment).
I also like to watch Michael Palins journeys through the world and some of those bargain hunt/old stuff auction programs. Especially when theres a lot of money involved.

Metal: A Headbanger's Journey.
Not many documentaries are made about metal music

Yes there is, off the top of my head:
Flight 666
Global Metal
Metal: A Headbangers Journey
Decline of the Western Civilization II: The Metal Years
Some Kind of Monster
Anvil: The Story of Anvil
Heavy Metal in Baghdad
There's more metal docs out there than other genres of music (apart from maybe early hip hop)
Whenever a documentary on the 60's comes on, I watch it so I can make fun of the hippies :v:
Does Walking with Dinosaurs count?
Anything by David Attenborough. I have Planet Earth on Blu-Ray. I watched it for 5 hours straight the day I got it. They're just fascinating.
