Interestingly, I don't really lag that much with a laptop, nor on my i7. Whereas people are suggesting there are huge problems with other more powerful/similar setups. I really like the game, give or take a few stutters and it's interesting how hit and miss the lag is in the game. Hopefully they release a patch soon, otherwise they will have a bunch of really pissed off customers.

It's going to be nearly impossible for me to look at anything except the call of duty thread these days because every other post is about how "bad" call of duty is.
This is the last Call of Duty game I will ever buy (even though I said that after Modern Warfare 2).
The series died with Call of Duty 3, got shocked back to life with Call of Duty 4, and then got buried with Modern Warfare 2.
This was such a waste of 60 bucks too. Why was it even 60$ anyway? Other games that come out on pc are only 50$ but since THIS IS CALL OF DUTY MAN! it just HAS to be 60$

I haven't experienced any "Lag" on SP or MP as of yet.
But what I HAVE experienced is that their damned servers like to kick me off their net about 4 times per hour.
Usually in the middle of games I'm winning.

And I had such high hopes for Black Ops /sarcasm.
It seems the problems are situational. I can run it fine, i just beat the whole game, but i get occasional lag spikes in multi. Other than that, it's a fucking awesome game. I just hope for a patch ASAP.

What? The story was actually a proper story for once and it was damn interesting. It wasn't just "there's a war going this bad guy wants to do bad shit stop him". It perfectly combined the Manchurian candidate and fight club.

Personally I quite enjoy COD and I think TF2 has just turned in a hat related circle jerk.

Ive never lagged, on max settings.
