Porridge! the breakfast/Scottish cous cous! Yours sounds pretty yummy and would probably be good on some weetabix too. I love my porridge simple with just some honey.
Also I see why the maple syrup is so expensive now, I wondered if it was just because it was imported.
Do they make maple syrup in Europe?
It's still pretty expensive here and I live in an area that produces syrup, I can't imagine what it's like over there.
It's pretty expensive, from memory the last bottle I saw was £6 for 200-300ml
i think it depends if you're willing to shop around or not. aldi do a canadian maple syrup (which they're not allowed to call if it's not actually from canada) and that's just about £3, which isn't that much considering.
it's always going to be a more premium product purely because of it's manufacturing process etc. but the £5+ bottles you can pay for is largely down to packaging/marketing techniques
I haven't previously shopped for maple syrup but tomorrow I am going to cook pancakes with syrup and more importantly bacon, done my way.
A piece of white bread with sausage on it.
I should get something better to eat.
Not even butter?
Mushrooms, Carrots, String Beans, Spinach, and Broccoli chopped up and steamed, cooked with bits of steak marinated with Italian dressing and a hint of parmesian cheese and montreal steak seasoning.
so good
all bran, oat bran, sliced banana - gotta love dat fibre
Brb eating nothing but a tomato for dinner, weight management at its finest.

Omelette du fromage?
I made the pancakes with candied bacon and maple syrup, followed by my friend Luke making some improvised nachos. Delicious!

Dairylea doesnt count as cheese! :)
dairylea is horrible, this was cheddar!
Had a mushroom omelette for dinner. Love them.
Also had a peanut butter cookie. First things I've ever baked and they seem to be a success, my housemates liked them! This makes me happy.
Dairylea has thermal retention properties greater than real cheese.
Also, the lunchables should not be classified as food, maybe rubbish, or some sort of plastic would be better.

I HATE MY MOUTH
That's totally Asian, I remember when I went there and found chilli chicken feet in the 'sweets' section.

the kitkats are asian, my uncle got them for me in japantown in SF
the chips my mom got at safeway cuz they were on sale for superbowl weekend
Gonna be eating lots of food through the superbowl then?
omelette again, i used my bigger pan this time and it worked a lot better!
omelettes are good, it's very very filling considering it's 2 eggs, 2 mushrooms, 2 spring onions and a few little pieces of cheddar, yum
My omelette experiences have always ranged from terrific to awful, burned messes.
I believe that my hugest issue is too many fillings.
Arbies 3 Cheese and Bacon Angus...

Miniature nachos. They're about an inch across ~ that's a teacup saucer. One of dozens of snacks I made for my first Super Bowl. Our guests wound up eating over a hundred of them!
They look pretty cool!
