Just glazed some bacon with maple syrup and threw it in the oven, only to find out I'm out of eggs so I can't make pancakes :(
But you got candied bacon and that is good enough right there! But I know the feeling... sorta, made scrambled eggs today only to find I'm out of creme fraiche!

some brie and salami and crackers
I love brie so much
I was bored enough to just throw ramen noodles into a glass cup and pour hot water on it. No powder or anything, just hot water and ramen noodles. It was fulfilling though.
Fucking campfire shrimp.

Except I was too lazy to make a campfire.

Did it work?

It tasted like candle wick residue and warmed shrimp.
I then went out side and constructed a smallish roasting setup for shrimp with a knife and some saw palmetto stems and roasted like 6 shrimp with a makeshift palmetto skewer.
THAT was delicious.
No picture, but I just discovered the most fucking amazing dessert as far as taste and speedy creation goes.
1. Make toast
2. Put on butter
3. Sprinkle little bit of brown sugar on top
4. Put on some strawberry jam
5. Sprinkle a topping of cinnamon
There now you have mouthgasm-toast.
Only thing I had today was a double chocolate muffin; one of those supermarket ones from the Co-op. It was alright; nothing too special but still nice.

Oh my God, those are so good. I like them because the bottom part is fluffy too, just like the top. Unlike most other muffins.
I think I just discovered the most godliest cooking secret after creating a chicken tortilla sandwich. If you've ever put a tortilla in a microwave, you essentially know what cardboard tastes like. Now wet a paper towel and place it on top of the tortilla before microwaving for no more than 40 seconds to a minute. The result is alright, nothing too special, I might not have even wet it enough, but it is FAR superior than the dry plastic circles you used to be nuking.
Toast with only butter.
And lots of it, it makes the bread so juicey, dont really need anything else on it.
