Borderlands' Pandora was way more inventive than Avatar's Pandora.

I'm going to trademark Hardtofindium and sell it to script writers.
I'm going to trademark Hardtofindium and sell it to script writers.
Do you think Shittymovium would sell just as well? It may be worth a shot.

I don't really understand why people would want to be a naavi and go live the "tribal life" it'd be god awful, no toilets no electricity, hostile environment and the best thing you've got to defend yourself is a poisoned bow, It would a constant grind just to survive...seriously these people like need to go live with the aborigines and see what living live there would be like the main there differnce being is that you don't have worms in your ponytail to talk to the animals... don't get me wrong it was a fantastic film but as the few posters above me have said...
Borderlands' Pandora was way more inventive than Avatar's Pandora.
I didn't play to the end of Borderlands but the planet seems to be your average sci-fi wasteland, full of wreckage, angry native animal things, bandits, few spatterings of civilisation, metal shacks. Supposed room of treasure somewhere. The Avatar one was interesting because of the plug and play tentacles everything has and how the whole planet's a big brain thing. Riding on banshees, being all agile and nimble, hunting things with your bow, etc.

Exotic creatures, great landscape, hunting things with a bow or spear, being agile and fast, ect.
Africa is an awesome place if you put it like that. Exotic creatures, great landscape, hunting things with a bow or spear, being agile and fast, ect.
Every country in the world is good if you see it like that.
what the :fork:
He's far from the only person who believes this. I'm all for encouraging people to have fewer children, but systematic killing is a no. And living on Borderlands Pandora would be boring as hell. All you'd need is one guy with a gun to take care of the bandits and you'd have nothing to do except sit in a metal shack in the desert with a robot who does nothing but dance when there aren't any visitors around being your only source of entertainment.
O.K well, as far as it goes, (and after reading all of this), I will admit: This was quite disturbing to know people are depressed from seeing Avatar. Now, I LOVE Avatar, it was Amazing, Breathtaking, (I really wanted to see it in 3D, but my eyes are damaged, and as such, i can't see in 3D), but it was truly an Epic Masterpiece. Yes, like a reverse Pocahontas, but still brilliant. It exceeded all my Expectations, but anyway, down to business: Like I said, I love Avatar, And all the comments made me think: "why?", I wish our world was a beautiful as pandora, and that we did actually live with Na'vi, but it all depends on your imagination, I have a VIVID Imagination, if anyone were to go inside my head, i think they would be afraid for their lives. But my Imagination gets carried away, and I'll admit: After i saw Avatar, my dream that night was of being in Pandora, using my own Avatar. But thats my dreams for crying out loud! I wish our world wasn't dying, but i don't want to kill myself because I can't be a Na'vi... And the couple that are aborting their child because this world isn't as nice as Pandora?? I mean, WHAT THE HELL?? People are entitled to do what they want, but thats just... I don't even wanna go there... Now, if your still reading: Your a Star! please keep on reading, I'm quite eager to share my views! And about that Tribe thing? THAT is cool, I think it is anyway, to some degree, I'm just annoyed it's not over here in Britain. Now, if it were a Fan Club, and you just, dressed up, as an Avatar/Na'vi, that would be cool, but to make a tribe? Well, actually, it sounds cool. I mean, to learn Na'vian would be pretty cool. And as amazing as all of that sounds, I'm not about to quit college just soes i can join a tribe of people wanting to live in their heads... ...true, I don't like waking up sometimes because I'm dreaming about being in Pandora, or just dreaming a real good dream, but, to quote Jake: "we all have to wake up eventually". Avatar is great. Why people are so depressed I'll never understand, you can't be a 10ft tall smurf, so what?. Why the couple aborted their child, i'll never get. And all in all: People are Overreacting to a classic film, There was even a guy who wrote a poem about having sex with neytiri! Or Something like that... In my view, most of this stuff is messed up, but the activities would be quite fun. And people need to get a grip on reality, I'm with the new generation, so I will most definitly live to see more amazing things in technological advancements. But if that Na'vi thing were to happen, A machine that Na'vifys you, I would, in all honesty, Go for it. Because that would be making the Non-Fiction, into Fiction. (or the other way around, whichever means not real to real...), that would also cure my eyesight problems!! (haha!) Don't kill yourselves, don't abort your kids, If you have to write a sexual poem about a smurf, go ahead, but don't go posting it on blogs for christ sakes!! People, heed these words: IT, IS, JUST, A, TRULY, EPIC, MOVIE!! It is not real. It WILL not happen. I hate to be a burn, because I'm a major, MAJOR, Avatar fan, AND theres a song done by Leona Lewis called: I see you. and its just so perfectly done along with Avatar, (have a listen to it), AND I'm having fun reading these spin-offs people are writing! there really good! Heres a suggestion: Go join an Avatar Fan Club, meet up, dress up as A Na'vi, dance around a fire, or write your own story! I don't care, just keep your mind and reality seperate. And its not the end of the world!! Please go ahead and provide some feedback and comments ON MY E-MAIL PLEASE, as i will probably forget my password to this site, (which will be a shame), I would love to hear your views and opinions on my views and opinions. (And Seriously, if you got this far, and are still reading this: HI!, and well done!)
