I used to volunteer at a company that produced kilts, and we always went to these Celtic fairs as vendors to sell them. We sold them to the atheletes, and to the Wicked Tinkers-the BEST piping band,EVER. I absolutely love the sound of bagpipes,I really wish I still worked there so I could experience them first hand.
Well that is an interesting job. Would make for interesting conversation.
"Hey Joe! I haven't seen you since high school! Maaaan, what have you been up to all these years?!"
"I worked in a kilt factory."
Where can I get a good bagpipe?

Bagpipes kept the romans out of scotland hell if I heard that sound in the fog id be fraked out to.
I went to private catholic boy's school, so of course we had a Pipes and Drums. I was going to learn the bagpipes but my sister told me pipers don't wear any undies, so I refused to do it. My mum was so pissed at her.
High Cathedral has to be my favorite one:
I live in Scotland and almost never hear bagpipes unless it's new years.
Go into any major city and they'll be about. There's always a couple in Princess Street in Edinburgh (usually on the park side of the road, not the shop side).
Technically Scotland doesn't have a national anthem. I think most of us would recognise Flower O' Scotland as our unofficial anthem, however I'm not too fond of it. Scots Wha Hae or Scotland The Brave seem much better to me.
I FUCKIng love bagpipes.
Ah my goddess has bagpipes in the opening.

I cannot stand bag pipes, mainly because they just sound like a whining on going HUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. And they look stupid to play.
bagpipes are whiney and annoying.

My friend was sure that this was our National Anthem. Couldn't get it through his head it's not.
Combine it with electric guitars, drums, violins, hurdy gurdys and flutes and you have a pretty badass folk metal band.

Hell fucking no. You just can't appreciate how awesome they are.
Yeah bagpipes are pretty awesome, shame how they're breeding grounds for disease and all kinds of horrible fungi.
Lead singer of Korn is the man at playing the bagpipes too in my opinion, it sounds smooth as when he plays.

Bagpipes sound like a kid going trough puberty singing.
Bagpipes remind me of Lord of the Rings.
