What's with newpunch anyway, just some sort of reorganizing? And do I need to reserve my place so my name doesn't get stolen, or is it fine to just sit on oldpunch and wait for the merge / migration?

Yeah names are unique, so it'd be wise to jump on and get yours if it's likely that someone else might sit on it.

Whereas it's technically the other way around. And even so, you can edit the email by the looks of it.
