Sorry if I'm late to the ignore list train but I really only use the feature for people who constantly have garbage avatars. Much easier than having to update it all the time when they change or I use new devices.

I've never used it but I don't mind that other people want to use it. It seems silly to dislike people just for using a feature on the site.

wherever anime is posted gratuitously or large numbers of anime avatars concentrate i simply allow my eyes to glaze over and i cease to receive information - for pages at a time if necessary. it is how i have survived.

I know I'm late to this but in my opinion, the worst option that any forum has made from myBB to vB, phpBB whatever is the ignore function. It is inherently terrible. You come onto this forum because there's a discussion whether it's getting angry that Trump sneezed, criticising a dog dick made for gmod, getting angry at a mod because they sneezed or even discussing why x sucks and why y is better. Blocking/ignoring communications from ANYONE is a fucking terrible idea and ruins the point of even engaging in a discussion. You are pretty much shielding yourself off from something that upsets you and won't even face it front on and deal with it properly. If a user truly annoys the living shit out of you, debate them and try and prove them wrong OR if they're just a bad poster, approach a mod and be like "fuck this guy sucks" and they'll either side with you or tell you to stop caring and move on. I hope for the love of god garry doesn't bring it back. The suggestion to totally wipe their name from the face of earth because you don't like the fact they support x over y is terrible and I think it says a lot about you than them. Why are you here anyway? Are you here because you want to have a discussion or because you want to sook? If it's the latter, I suggest you find another place and don't look back because ignoring an opinion won't save you.

It's a useless post, much like saying "ENDLESS TRASH" or "FUCK YOU ITS FOREVER" whenever a sequel to star wars or a dc movie gets announced in SH (a lesson i learned the hard way) only one other person made a post along the same lines but it was specifically against keemstar and not being dismissive of the entire situation. and as said above, likely a gimmick account
