We're losing members, and those who don't know about the forum associate this shit with Rust. (I wish that game could be undone). This place used to be amazing, with new personal stories and whatnot pretty much weekly, and lots of more creative/unique stuff besides the same political dumb shit over and over everyday. It just gets stale with the same people arguing nonstop 24/7, and I do politics and the news, but SH used to be a fun place that didn't feel so depressing and hostile. Some part of me feels like it's stricter moderation that has led us to this point, but then without it this would also be an echochamber shithole like reddit and we don't want that either. Unless I'm just crazy, facepunch is going down the shitter. It could also be the growing up of most users here just inherently leads it to a more "mature" less fun place than what it was. Can't be only me who feels like this, too. Facepunch is supposed to be a goofyass place with fun shit constantly happening, not just a fucking hole of argument and depression. It Kills me to see what we've become tbh. I hope we as a community can start to be less caught up with drama/shitposts and focus on important things, like threads about cumming in Socks. He's got a few other alts he might jump onto but I can't remember fully what state those ones are in, they should all be banned from what I can remember. Far as I'm aware, both sockpuppets named accounts should be banned now, the two throwaways, his main and another under a kirby name because I remember perming those.
