if oldpunch is gonna get shut down, I hope Garry just pulls the plug ASAP cause the new forums are currently fucking awful to browse because it's the same 20 people ironically shitposting

So I did that whole profile migration quite a while ago - and I guess I should've reacted back then - but I've got a bit of an issue. Basically, new FP has apparently failed to register all my posts during my time here. When I did the migration, I think I had ~3,3k-3,4k posts total, but new FP has only registered 8 total posts. Is there a way to resolve this, or...? [sp]Also I figure that means I'm losing out on a lot of coins, which is just sad.[/sp]

Programming, and the news forums were the only bit i used on FP, but now they're weirdly half and half. Newpunch sections are... to put it politely, filled with only trash because not everyone has been migrated across I feel like it'd be better to up and chuck everyone in at the same time. Also +1 for RIP usability, very much not a fan of newpunch's look. The programming forums have been on their way out for a while though, so maybe this is press F to pay respects

The forums won't be so shitposty once the full transfer goes on, not to mention the fully-transferred forums have normal moderation I believe.

Over on Newpunch, I noticed that a large portion of my posts didn't seem to carry over after doing the account migration. Is that a bug, or is that just something that hasn't been fully moved over yet for Newpunch?

I took a further look into what it's showing versus what it finds when looking up previous posts, and it's showing about 3900 of my posts, but only counting 142 of them directly on my profile page. That aside, I'm actually liking Newpunch so far. Still not fully understanding why there's a coin system since it only seems to pertain to avatar size and thread bounties at this time, but I assume there's probably more in the works for that.

a tonne of migrated posts come with a "permission denied" thing so you can't technically see your post history

It's quite close to this forum's.

Newpunch only says I have 2 posts yet finds 44 other posts elsewhere on the forum. Very odd.

Stop worrying about your post count until everything get moved over.

If you have a post that was migrated to newpunch and it was in your fp_read.php prior to migration, it will stay in fp_read.php and be unable to be marked read. :sad:
