Pet rats are adorable, intelligent and perfectly clean animals, they make great pets :).
This thread is really cute.
I had several rats growing up and pretty much everything he said is absolutely true, except for one thing. While the rat is still in its youth it needs to be kept in the cage 80% of the time. The rat needs to know that the cage is his territory, and his place. Once the rat learns this he will only go to the piss and shit in the cage. Now you can potty train a rat however, I have been told its not an easy task
My mom gave my rat away cause he shits to much. I miss Steve Anyway to convince my mom into knowing that Rats are friendly?
