Okay? good thing I was talking about crysis on pc then
Okay? good thing I was talking about crysis on pc then
Were these guys playing on a console? Or PC with a controller? If console, you should be able to expect it to look even better on PC.
I didn't even say it looks bad. It looks nice. I'm just saying we still are at basically the same graphical ability we achieved in 2007 - and that aside, it's just got a very similar look to the first Crysis.
The player is a bit too much of a bullet sponge for my taste.

It's sort of nice that the PS3 and Xbox are limiting our hardware ceiling though; it means that we get developers actually optimising their stuff a bit more to cram more graphical quality in. I think maybe we've reached a good point to hold off on graphical development and look more at gameplay and whatnot though. While nice graphics are alright, I'd love to see innovative gameplay a bit more often

Plus Crysis was way ahead of it's time.
The player is a bit too much of a bullet sponge for my taste.
im pretty sure they were using god mode for the demo.
This looks worth getting, always enjoyed the games.. Farcry 2 with Realism and Graphics mod isnt bad either. Glad they brought the rock trowing back!!
The player is a bit too much of a bullet sponge for my taste.
Every walkthrough / gameplay demo puts it on easy mode and usually with some other cheats too. They don't want to be dying all the time.
If they have options with the amount that Dishonored had, I'll like it. Turn off the glowing "SKIN THIS, PRESS THIS" Turn off auto aim Let have a FOV of at least 90, so it doesn't look like I'm carrying the weapon right at my face Everything else looks okay. AI seems a bit dumb.
"He feels a call of duty for the medal of honour and goes into the battlefield to resolve the crisis"

I liked the old farcry 2 map better. It was more immersive than some random bubble on your screen.
I think it looks great and will definitely be picking this up. Is there any word yet on whether they'll use Steamworks?
Is this video horrifically compressed or is it some upscaling xbox thing.
looks sweet
Honestly, I would have been satisfied with something like FC2, but with better ai and without the dumb malaria type stuff. Happy to see that they really seem to be going above and beyond my expectations.
I loved a lot of shit in FC2, but the weapon jamming and lack of anything to really really do got to me. Just found out you start off with a wallet that has a limited capacity and you have to upgrade it. A limit on carrying money, fuck off.

The area they were in is 1/20th or the area we got to see from the top of the tower is 1/20th? If the latter then holy dogshit batman
The area they were in is 1/20th or the area we got to see from the top of the tower is 1/20th?
Just found out you start off with a wallet that has a limited capacity and you have to upgrade it. You still carried a lot of money but at a price. After all, money does take SOME space at least. Hopefully they have it so you can automatically just carry very very much a lot, but not 9999999999999999$ In bioshock you can only carry 500$ I believe.

The max you could carry was $500, the counter had 4 digits. Why tease me like that?!
Sometimes realism isn't fun, like only being able to carry like 2 weapons or weapons degrading.
I sometimes cheat my games to make them more fun Like Fallout New Vegas, I just gave myself infinite weight limit because if the kind developers are going to put in 200 weapons I want to carry all of them Farcry 3 looks pretty silly and fun, can't wait Heard you can get eaten by sharks if you mess about in the water
Sometimes realism isn't fun, like only being able to carry like 2 weapons or weapons degrading.
I think carrying a small amount of weapons is fun... and as Coolspot said degradation at the rate it was in FC2 wasnt realistic, it was silly.
Sometimes realism isn't fun, like only being able to carry like 2 weapons or weapons degrading.
You're jumping to the conclusion that having limited money in the beginning is going to be much of a problem or a hindrance in the long run.
You're jumping to the conclusion that having limited money in the beginning is going to be much of a problem or a hindrance in the long run.
The beginning of games is where you need money the most,
