I, too was disappointed about the lack of a final fight/any mention of Ron's brother being mauled/the funeral. Also, was I the only one who was just expecting McGonagall to dispel the dark mark with a flick of the wrist instead of everyone somehow knowing to do the same spell at the same time to create a big light that just looked out of place?
Gonna go see it today ...

Cmon, i think everyone should have read the books.
The books have so much more than the movies!
Saw it on Wednesday, this film has the most (whether intentional or otherwise) sexual innuendo.
When Snape pushes Malfoy against the wall and says something along the lines of 'You need to trust me, I know what to do, you'll be fine' and then Malfoy shouts 'I DON'T NEED PROTECTION!'

I never noticed that, you're just a sick fiend. But the part where Ginny ties Harry's shoelaces is kind of weird.
[sp]It was so sad when they had aragog's funeral.[/sp]

I can't remember who [sp]aragog[/sp] is.
Great movie in my opinion

[sp]Giant pimp spider that had a pincer ripped off by Slughorn in the movie, which was fucking hilarious.[/sp]
I just remember the key points.
Every adult who matters dies.
Other than mcGonagall or whatever.
And Hagrid
I wanted Hagrid to die, I couldn't be bothered with him after the third book. I didn't care so much for Dobby either [sp]everyone I knew cried over his death, it didn't even phase me[/sp]
I watched it, didn't quite like the show. One big melodramatic love fest, involving people and their various love interests. Feck snogging and whatnot and get with some spell action.
I watched the movie yesterday, I didn't like it as much as I thought I would have. But that was only the first part of the movie...and that first part I was high. The rest of the movie was awesome though
Movie was quite awesome.
Was funny too:
[sp]Like the part where Harry takes the luck potion and looks and acts like he is high on something[/sp]
Honestly, this movie was shit. I couldn't bear watch it. I was bored out of my mind after having watched Transformers. Throughout the whole movie they used the same spell which simply knocked each other down, then again I've never bothered reading any of the books. :P Watch Megan Fox instead err i mean Transformers.
You prolly hated it because you watched ADD the movie right before watching this.

Don't you mean [sp]Ron? If you mean Harry then it was more like he was on ecstasy or something.[/sp]
This movie is a stain on the Harry Potter series.
It really was that awful.
I think I'll stick to the books.

wait dobby died? I don't remember that
I always liked dobby
I liked how everyone beat him.
wait ... snip

[sp] Remember when Harry took the luck potion to get the professor to tell him about the Horspex or something, he was like hyped up on prozac or something[/sp]
Lol, people who haven't read the books will be left utterly confused. They skipped a ton, added a couple of extra (but cool) scenes and didn't go in-depth into the [sp]Horcrux[/sp] explanation.
However, the movie broke worldwide first-day sales gross records yesterday.
$104 million on day one, global. And to think it hasn't even released in some countries yet...
I'm predicting it will hit $1 billion fairly quickly, with the still-to-come IMAX release.
All my friends have either loved it or hated it, I loved it, but disliked the ending, it was surprisingly funny.
It was an enjoyable movie, but they missed out to much from the book. Like the gaunt family, all the pensieve scenes.
What the fuck happened to the Burrow? Where are the Gaunts? FUCK THIS CRAP MOVIE.
J.K Rowling must be vomiting. The only thing keeping her sane is probably the £££ $$$.
Since they're already moving away from the books, well, could they throw in a Hermione - Luna - Ginny three way?
Watching it tomorrow with a couple of friends. Then we're gonna sneak into some other movies.
/highfive

Or, you could just have Luna doing anything sexual.
