And Draco is told to kill Dumbledore by Voldemort
Have you read the book? Because that's fucking WAAAY off.

No he's right, Voldemort tells Draco to kill Dumbledore but Dumbledore also tells Snape that Snape should do it, and in the end that's what happens.
Just saw it, and it was definately good, although they did cut a lot of stuff. They need to make longer movies, I don't care if I have to sit through a 5-hour movie if it's worth it.
The aim of the movie is to set you up for Deathly Hallows, and thats exactly what it did. Its not supposed to be a "complete" story on its own and they're saving the REAL climax for the next two movies.
Two movies?
I thought Deathly Hallows was the 7th and final one. But all the other movies had a nice climax as some point followed by usually a semi-happy ending

They're splitting up the Deathly Hallows into two movies.
And as stated by the director, each of the parts will be much closer to the book, which means that not huge amounts of stuff will be left out.

Yep
although rarely now.
well the book is set in '96 so its not implausible
well the book is set in '96 so its not implausible
Ah yeah
well the book is set in '96 so its not implausible
But the movies are based in now, that bridge that got destroyed in the beginning of the movie was the millenium bridge, which was built between 1998 and 2000.
they could stand to leave out lots

That only took up a relatively small part of a few chapters, in between the angst was some fairly important information.
I just saw it and thought it was really good :(
Do europeans really say "snogging"?
Immature giglling girls use it.
Yeah but I really don't think that books are fun, their boring in my opinion. You read books in school all the damn time.
rated bad reading. Books can be brilliant, the Harry Potter ones aren't.
I'm going to see it later today....with my family. My friends don't want to see it or can't. One of them wants to read the book before he watch the film, even though he said last week that he'd gladly go and watch it with me the opening weekend, the other one already ordered tickets, because he thought I still was on vacation and the third one is out of town. I know there are more people to ask, but i'm too lazy.
The movies started going down hill when everyone started wearing fucking sweaters and sport jackets instead of robes and they incorporated rock music for who the fuck knows why

Mainly because in the books, there are rock bands?
Like those witches. I don't remember the name of them. But they described them in the Goblet of Fire I think.
I don't understand the outfits though.
Just got back from watching it. Rather dull compared to the other movies, and way to much romance. I don't recall the book being like this. My score: 7/10
Man I would fuck Emma Watson so damn hard.
