i havent reread DH yet so youre probably right
you should it's the best of the series.
hmm not really
hmm not really
hmm if you haven't read it then don't judge?
I think the story would have been much more badass if [sp]Dumbledore[/sp] had just worked the shit out of [sp]Snape and the Death Eaters[/sp] and left [sp]Draco[/sp] to go run home and tell Lord V what happened.
ahh my bad misread "reread"

He wanted to die to save himself a painful death by the cursed ring, but yes it would have been badass.
Just came back from watching it. Pretty good, I suppose. But having just finished reading Half Blood Prince again yesterday I noticed changes better than someone who hadn't read it in a while.
[sp]The beginning is different, the ending is different.
No end fight inside Hogwarts with Ginny, Lupin, Bill and Professor McGonagall against the death eaters.
I didn't see Dobby or Kreacher once and there wasn't much mention of Harry's plan to watch where Malfoy goes on the Marauder's map (except for one scene)
Didn't see Buckbea-, uhh.. Witherwings,
Didn't see Harry and Hagrid put out Hagrid's house
Tonks wasn't on the train
Snape wasn't the one who took Harry to hogwarts when Tonks found him
Didn't see the second quidditch match, against Ravenclaw.
When did Ginny go into the Room of Requirement with Harry? [/sp]
I'm sure I missed some other things, and maybe got some things wrong, but since I finished the book so recently I noticed all of these changes
Are you mad? This one was about 1 and a half hours too long as it was.
You have the attention span of a fly.
These movies should be as long as the LOTR movies.

my one real problem with the stuff they changed was [sp]the circumstances behind harry getting rid of the potions book
cause in the book he was like "shit snapes gonna find it and i dont want that because i want to keep using it" but then in the movie he was like "im so ashamed! ohhh sob...ohhh cry"[/sp]

Oh yeah, that's another one.
The book of the Half Blood Prince didn't seem as big as it should have been.
I mean it helps him a little bit, then they decide to get rid of it after using a spell? That left me disappointed.
i like your skin
What's with the gaybows? Is there gay scene in it?
They added in that scene where Bellatrix and Greyback attacked the burrow to add a sense of what the wizarding community were meant to be feeling with random attacks from deatheaters - this is what i states on IMDB - but when I was watching it, it just seemed like a personal attack on the Weasleys and Harry so I thought that was a bit pointless and could have been missed out.

they shoulda done it on like xeno lovegood or the longbottoms or the patils or something
or just taken one of the many DP (lol) headlines they mention throughout the book and made a scene out of it
Did anyone else think the burrow scene was completely random and served no purpose?

Thanks
Did anyone else think the burrow scene was completely random and served no purpose?
I did think it was random, as it wasn't in the books and was out of the blue, but I think it served a purpose to explain to the audience that Harry isn't safe anywhere anymore, not even such a place as the burrow.
i liked that scene
it was pretty intense

Not only that, but both Harry and Ginny just dash out through the ring of fire (yea, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, stand there and watch your daughter chase down some Death Eaters) with no purpose. Harry just had hatred for Bellatrix and she was screaming "I killed Sirius Black!" but in the end, it was a pointless scene. I agree.
Also, I honestly don't get why this movie couldn't beat the 5-day-opening gross of Transformers 2...
what do people see in that movie?

large transforming robots and ridiculously imaginative explosions.
Emma Watson makes half of my blood run to my prince.

buh dum tish
i actually heard it blows
Saw it today, and I don't think it had too many scenes about the relationships between the students, like I've seen many people say.
Mhm. Really good movie in my opinion.
I enjoyed the movie better than the last two, but I just didn't ever like how the Harry Potter series went after the 3rd one.
The first one was the most original with the most whimsical charm.
The second one was original and had a really fun mystery.
The third one didn't have Voldomort... And Black was awesome.
After that the series seemed to go with the rinse and repeat "Nobody believes harry, harry fights voldomort and saves the day, everyone loves harry". As well as the lose of charm, the progressively "darker tone" to the books, and the stupid teenage romance.
But it was a very solid movie to watch none the less.
I saw it yesterday and it was pretty good.
They had to build up the emotion for dumbledore alot so you'd feel really sad at the end.

Yeah. Too bad everyone (who hasn't read the Deathly Hallows) thinks Dumbledore's an idiot for not fighting back against Draco and co.
It was okay I guess, I would have liked more action though.
I want them to re-make all the films. More darker and more serious. Plus, bring in some better actos for the main roles (Harry, Ron, and Hermione) I really do hate teen/child actors, but if it has to be done; DO IT RIGHT. Thats all I wanna put. But yea the film was good, but the ending could have been much much much much mcuh better.
When Harry/Ginny/Draco are in the Room of Requirement, can you see Rowena's Diadem thing?
It was in the book but I don't know if it's in the film
