Make Harry Potter = good just because of Emma Watson.
If that were the case then give your favourite porno an academy award nomination. The movies take a while to get anywhere but then again, so do the books.
Lol i'd say Hermionie, Ginny and Luna are just simply peng.
Peng?
Ahahha sorry, using slang. Here you go. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Peng
I saw it last night at a staff screening. I was pretty let down to be honest. There's not a lot of epic moments like in the 5th one, Voldemort is nowhere to be seen, all the supporting characters have fucking no lines at all (like Neville etc). It's just a Harry and Dumbledore fest. They missed out so many badass moments, like the big fight at the end after snape kills dumbledore. They also played up the whole teenaged romance themes too much compared to the book. It was good, but overall I was let down. It just wasn't badass enough. Fairy nuff, the scenes inside the cave when they find the horcrux was pretty immense... It's scary. And Dumbledore finally shows off a bit of badassery. The opening scenes are great too. It's worth going to see, it's jsut not as epic as I thought it'd be. I'm going to see it in IMAX next week, I can tell that will be pretty awesome. Also! Quidditch is back... yey! 7/10 [editline]12:41PM[/editline] Also, whoever plays Ginny is a shit actress.
I just got home from seeing it, best movie so far IMO, but I don't get[sp]why they had to kill Dumbledore at the end, I was like WTF NO[/sp], I don't read the books btw, only watch the movies. After the last one comes out I will start reading them
Snapes not evil :P
Ssssshhhh
I haven't read the last book yet...
Not the movies... don't get me wrong, books are great, but the movies always felt...somehow more emo.
I hope the movies also become more serious and less kid-friendly, damnit.
I hope the movies also become more serious and less kid-friendly, damnit.
They have.. Sorta. Besides theres only one more to come out which is in two parts. Last movie should be the darkest.

I went to the theater just to find out there weren't any tickets left. I'm going to go again tomorrow or maybe the next day to see if things have died out a bit.

Who would watch this who isn't a rabid Harry Potter fan/likes teenage romance. I mean they are just not good at all, the last one I saw was 5 and it was awful.
snape kills dumbledore[/sppiler]
Who would watch this who isn't a rabid Harry Potter fan/likes teenage romance. I mean they are just not good at all, the last one I saw was 5 and it was awful.
Why? Give reasons
Why? Give reasons
Terrible actors, terrible/cheesy lines, bad balance between boring talk no one cares about and some half decent CGI-ladden action,
Terrible actors, terrible/cheesy lines, bad balance between boring talk no one cares about and some half decent CGI-ladden action,
The children actors are terrible yes. But the older ones I think are brilliant personally especially Alan Rickman Yes there are sadly a lot of cheesy lines. And a lot of the 'boring' talk is the story progressing normally

And it's what I don't like about the movies.

Just saw it, I thought it was the best so far. I did like the 3rd alot too. Slughorn was really good in my opinion. They did miss out a lot from the books, but it still ended up being a long movie. I'm glad the next one is in 2 parts. Apparently the screenplay is like 750 pages. Anyway I'd give it 3.5 - 4 stars.
Seen the movie this morning, thought it was pretty good but it didn't show some of the main points from the book, although it seems to be that way with all the harry potter movies.
Yeah I just saw it at lunch. Was good I thought, but the action was lacking. Expected more epic fighting. And the girl who plays Ginny needs to die. Oh and Emma Watson <3
I'm pretty excited. I think that the movies do a very good job of capturing the images the books paint in your head.
