Yeah but they're crazier than Harry Potter fans. Maybe.
They're not crazier then Harry Potter fans... some colleges actually do quiditch.. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Potter_fandom
This one just seemed like a movie I'll see and forget about easily. Harry Potter has just gotten worse. The first was really fun, the second was good but not as good, the third was kinda cool cause it was getting darker, the fourth didn't seem like Harry Potter, the fifth sucked, and this one was unremarkable. It didn't get anywhere except for one part.
Well duh, the whole aim of the movie is to set you up for Deathly Hallows. And thats exactly what it did. -_-
I just watched it. Great movie.
They're not crazier then Harry Potter fans... some colleges actually do quiditch.. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Potter_fandom
They are crazier. 90% of Twilight's fanbase are rabid, emo, and have deep seated fantasy issues regarding death and love. I'd much rather hang about with a bunch of Harry Potter nerds who will bore me with their nerd musings than get stabbed in the eye by some stupid bitch just because I said twilight sucks.

Vampires do, and therefore cause violent reactions, meaning if you put an obsessive Harry Potter fan and an obsessive Twilight fan in a room with a violent dementia patient, he'd more likely leave alone the "wizard" and kill the "vampire".

im considering seeing this just for the dumbledore death scene
im considering seeing this just for the dumbledore death scene
It's disapointing, actually.
It's disapointing, actually.
I heard they removed the funeral? sounds kinda lame.
I heard they removed the funeral? sounds kinda lame.
They did. It cuts from Harry crying over Dumbledoor's body to Harry in Dumbledoor's office talking to Hermoine and Ron. Plus, the fight with the Death Eaters isn't in it at all.
Movies > Books
You are what is wrong with today's youth.
The part where Dumbledore had died and Harry was holding him the whole cinema was quite, but then this guy did the most ridiculous sneeze I'd ever heard and after a few seconds the whole cinema cracked up. Talk about ruining the moment
I just got back from watching it, Lavender Brown is fucking hilarious, she's so crazy.
The ring didn't have the symbol of the [sp]Deathly Hallows[/sp] on it.
Oh really? [editline]05:07PM[/editline] Even thought it wasn't in the book, the scene where [sp]Bellatrix and Fenrir burn down The Burrow[/sp] was pretty good.
Nah that wasn't it. It was all/mostly in white. I may have it saved somewhere but can't check at this time.
I just checked, can't find it. Must have lost it when I reformatted... :( Ah! nsfw nsfw nsfw

Why bother filming for years if you're just going to cut the important shit out later?
yeah why did they add that scene, thats really gonna fuck up the next book for the wedding.
It shouldn't be too hard to fix that, they are wizards/witches after all. Even if that does fuck up the wedding part, the rest of Deathly Hallows will definitely be awesome.
I'm gonna see the on Saturday. I can't wait... I'm about to ditch the girl to see it sooner haha
Stop posting Hermi-pussy. Some people look at Facepunch at work, too!
i keep reading these damn spoilers and i can't help it! i'm reading Half-Blood Prince right now i'm about 1/3 done with it [spent some time at Borders] i wanted to read it before i saw the film, but this thread is ruining it all for me
England, bitches. We break up Friday.
Wut? I broke up two weeks ago.
I've been reading the discussion in this thread, and no one has mentioned the fact that [sp]Dumbledor instructed Snape to kill him. This is revealed in the next book/movie.[/sp] So in reality, [sp]Snape is a good guy.[/sp]
That's kinda one of the main plots billeh. NSFW: Luna Porn

spoilers: harry potter is for fags
I smell a troll. It was a good movie. I wish they had more of Dumbldors funeral though.
Well at least this will be better than that Twillight Saga. More Wizardry and magic than vampires.
I started getting disappointed with the series after the 5th movie, and this movie just makes it worse. It's filled with bad puns, love triangles, plot holes, overused jokes and ridiculous plot twists. They could have cut a ton of useless crap out of the movie and not make it 2.5 hours and still had the same effect. Rowling sitting on her highhorse and calling everyone "delusional" from thinking something would happen from the previous books / movies and didn't is just one more reason to hate it.
