I am part of the people that are fucking stoked as shit, I noticed the music right away and ended up having a mental breakdown when I saw the trailer for the first time. It was mostly because I only just recently played through Final Fantasy 7 and finished watching Vinesauce Vinny's FF7 playthrough.

When I saw the stars, I was like, "Wait, what?" Then the music started playing and I was loudly pronouncing to myself, "No fucking way. This has to be Mii costumes- it's even doing the Smash Bros x Final Fantasy thing, there's no way this isn't Mii costumes!" Then they showed Cloud's feet, I realized what they did, and my dog learned what a hyped fanboy sounds like.
