My parents are in the top 0.08% of income in the US
my dad inherited a company from my grandfather which he sold, and he is also a heart surgeon. I plan to follow in his footsteps in being a heart surgeon, medicine is very interesting
That's fucking insane considering the top 1% of the USA has more money than the bottom 95% combined.
What the hell do your parents own?
Lower middle class in the housseee
:c
I don't know where you're getting your information, because it is highly misleading.
I'm not going to give an exact figure, but my dad has somewhere between 4 and 10 million dollars
And my grandfather passed on some sort of water filtration or purification company or something, it had a lot to do with water
Lower middle class in the housseee
:c
Upper lower class represeeeeeeeent
:suicide:
Its kinda weird for me, I have 2 pinball machines, a 6-wheel atv, a 1972 grand prix, a eaa witness limited pistol, a huge bed with marble columns, a movie theater, and much more.
buttt.....
I wear my dad's shoes, his 10 year old pants andshirts, his old wallet, I don't have a cellphone, I put down the whole house's flooring, and sod, and I work for pretty much everything I get.All money I get goes into family christmas and birthday presents, car, etc.
So I dress like a hobo, live like a pimp :P
btw my aunt has like 2 million dollars in the bank, but she lives like middle class, and doesnt spend it

I'll take the third one from the left.
lower upper class represent, my father owns a chain of taco shops bitch.
$42.68 to my name as we speak.
Not rich per say. Between middle and upper middle. Still work though. Parents don't doll out money like those of my friends which is fine by me.
On the topic of friends, I have a few rich as fuck friends. In ones case, his parents REFUSED TO SPEND LESS THAN $40,000 USD on his FIRST CAR which he totaled within three months. They ended up spending $60,000 on his next car because the last one "didn't handle well enough for a teenager". This asshole also refuses to spot his friends who forgot their wallets or whatever. But he gets fucktons of weed and leaves it around everywhere and forgets about it, so I guess that's a plus.
My other friend has a severe case of "one upping" which was brought on by his parents who are also rich as fuck (dad just signed an energy contract which gives him $7,500,000 USD with bonuses at the end of every year for 5 years) He got a Toyota Matrix as his first car and "pimped it out". For my first car, I bought a bitchin' refurbished 1969 Camero. He then pushed for a newer Camero saying that his is better. So I bought a gun. An M1A. He bought a $5,000 guitar. I buy a DLSR, he buys the latest and greatest (uses it on auto settings and carries it around. Never uses it though) Canon whatever.
There's just no winning in this town. Not that it really matters, it would just be nice to be able to beat the guy with the money.
I'm so disappointed in my father too, because he was going to buy a ferrari f360, but couldn't insure it in a way that he could drive it back and forth from work every day. The only insurance he could find was that of a show car etc, which means that he would never be able to drive it :frown:
I guess yet another porsche turbo will have to do :sigh:
[editline]3:33[/editline]
honestly, probably the last car he is going to get, he is going to keep his next car for at least as long has he can, and it could have been this

but now it is not. It is hard to describe my anguish
You can find a true friend in the poor. You can find a good meal with the rich. Stuck-up is not a common interest in people I tent to seek out.
My family isn't rich, but dead honest truth, we do live in a pretty rich neighborhood. Probably the cheapest house around here is like $640,000. There are some $1mil+ homes here. It's weird because we're surrounded by some rich people, and live in a rich neighborhood, but since my dad is unemployed and shit, and I don't think ever made more than say 100k a year, we are almost blessed to still be living here.
I can't even afford a decent fucking computer.
I own 47 buildings in Manhattan.
In the future.

Poorer people are generally more interesting and fun to hang around with. I don't want to sound like an elitist prick or something, but I hang out with them much more than the rich. In my experience, the rich are dull and boring and have little if any personality. Those who do try to fit in with the rest of the crowd or take on the role of a hispter or emo or goth or something (at least where I live. Rich emo's and shit are not uncommon).

I hate to sound (I'm not really sure what the word for it is) stuck up or self centered or anything but this is why I never tell anyone that my family is as fortunate as it is. For some reason, people tend to dislike those with more money than others
Lower or lower middle class here.
I have a ton of friends that are higher middle class though. :(
He bought my other friend valve complete pack and a new alienware pc.

I'm the working my ass off 40 hour/week to make a living class.
Upper middle class WOO!!!
But I'm spoiled as fuck.
Not only am I an only child with an overprotective mother who always wants me to be perfectly happy, I also have 4 parents (Divorced, then remarried).
It's pretty sweet haha.
I'm upper class, I guess.
We don't show it though...
I want to be rich. :(
