Use to be upper middle class when i was younger, now my step dad can't even find a job.

I guess I'm average. I used to know a guy, not really a friend since, for whatever reason, suddenly he's an asshat to me. Anyway, he used to have one sister, but not much money, and he never got much stuff, his dad had a poor job etc. Now he has 3 sisters and a brother. His dad still has the same job. This is probably a very dumb thing to say, but why do people without much cash always have a bunch of kids anyway?

Personally... Not rich. Though my parents on the other hand: Yes. I have good stuff (Nice netbook, decent desktop, a BlackBerry Bold on a family plan, a few extra PCs...) I make most of my money by doing computer repair / Xbox 360 Controller rapid fire mods / fixing up older PCs and selling them for a profit / building PCs. I get a $20 a month allowance, which is pretty damn sufficient for most things. Not really fond of irregular jobs and depending so much on my parents... Wish I could get a job around here. I also feel like a huge dick for letting my parents pay $25 a month for a data plan on my phone, fucking Rogers only gives 500 MB for that price. I do try to earn my keep around here however: Fixed the lawn mower last week, keep my room tidy, fix the PCs of my family, do some yard work and I actually saved my parents $50-ish a month on the phone / cable bill. We had the phone service and the cable internet separate, both kind of mediocre (2 Mb/s internet and expensive long distance phone). So I informed them of the cable companies bundle which gives us really nice phone service and [i]15 Megabit[/i] internet for the exact same price as our current cable bill, plus $2.
