Not anymore. Now its Witcher's 3 birthday.
Nilfgaard did nothing wrong.
They have fucking Sauron as their leader / commander or whatever, how could they?
really? it the other way around for me, I played the second game first and decided to buy the first because the second was so great. I can't even get past the tutorial mission the combat bores me so much
And that's probably what's wrong with the second one for me, I played it with a mindset of it being very similar to Witcher 1 just better graphics.
But the combat was nothing like what I had to learn in the first game. I admit the first game was also difficult for me to get into, but after reading a guide about the controls and what everything did I found it to be an amazing game after some practice.
Maybe I just have to read something similar for Witcher 2, and learn all of the changes.

Isn't that supposed to be the Wild Hunt?
Haven't seen this stuff posted yet. A lot of gameplay, most of which does not appear to be scripted at all.

Emhyr is a visionary that has unfortunately become obsessed with a prophecy that states his daughter's son will conquer the world. Of course he's never met his daughter (was given to Geralt at birth,) so to him she's basically some girl that happens to share his blood. Hell, the one moment he had her in his grasp, he had a change of heart at seeing his daughter (someone he's never met, mind you) lament she'll never see Yennefer and Geralt again, so he let her go.
Beyond that, Nilfgaard has a far better track record as far as the treatment of non-humans are concerned, having gone so far as to give out a kingdom to the Elves (which was quickly conquered by Aedirn) for their help in the last war. Any wrong Nilfgaard may have done, the Northern Kingdoms have done far worse, far more often.
In fact, (Witcher 2 spoilers incoming) [sp]Letho's primary reason for working with Emhyr was the promise that, once it's all said and done, Emhyr will grant the Witchers (and non-humans) a kingdom of their own. Seeing how the Empire upheld their promise last time, I don't see them betraying Letho if he had succeeded.[/sp]
[sp]Letho mentions the emperor promised to rebuild the School of Viper (Letho's destroyed witcher school) if he causes chaos and imbalance in the North. Not sure about the non-human kingdom.[/sp]
Man. I fucking LOVE the soundtrack on the Witcher 3 so far. God damned it, so much hype for this.
