Not sure if serious. There is God and there is Zeus who is a god. Pretty sure that Zeus is lower on the totem pole being a pagan god and all that.
i mean how does greek mythology relate to christian mythology, i wish there was more to that one episode, like castiel appeared and rambled about zeus explaining shit
i mean how does greek mythology relate to christian mythology, i wish there was more to that one episode, like castiel appeared and rambled about zeus explaining shit
It doesn't really. The Greek gods mean pretty much jack shit to angels and God. Pretty much even demons are more powerful than them.

They're "Minor gods" You know, like there are "minor demons"
I always thought Supernatural was a chick flick type of show, but I started watching season 1 tonight and found that it isn't. It's quite good.
What made you think that? [editline]2nd March 2013[/editline]
They're "Minor gods" You know, like there are "minor demons"
I don't believe that Odin, the Norse "All-Father" who begot the other Norse Gods, can be considered a "Minor God". Lucifer freaking head-stomped him to death. The Pagan Gods overall in the Supernatural universe are basically cannon fodder compared to the Angels, it seems.
The two main characters being handsome guys that girls are dreamy over.
Nothing wrong with that.
Ugh, they won't be releasing the next episode for awhile.
Since the mention of Nazis i have been watching the 8th series now. Hope its a good EP.
Just finished the episode Heart (Mid Season 2) Really great show
I hate it when series have these month long pauses. I can understand winter and summer breaks to a point. Suits did have like a 5 month hiatus though.
I completely forgot about season 8 coming out. Anyway I can get caught up on the episodes without having to wait until it's release on netflix?
There isn't but generally shows that have that are targeted towards more of a female audience. I'm glad I was proven wrong though, I'm only season 4 now and loving the show.
I always thought it was some shitty low budget shitty shit. I was pleasantly surprised. Makes me laugh when I watch the older episodes and Sam and Dean are young happy and full of life. Then jump ahead to season 3 and Dean is using his gruff voice all the time.

Wait, I don't remember seeing that, what episode is that from?
So who the fuck really is Naomi?
So who the fuck really is Naomi?
Pretty sure she works for Heaven in some capacity but the lines have gotten preeeetty blurred as of late. [sp] Besides, it's not the first time heaven and hell have tangled. Goddamn I really wanted to see Meg and Castiel together [/sp] Better find some fanfics yo.
Nice episode, they just need to do more main story episodes like this one. I hate it when they come up with those non-sense episodes that have nothing to do with the main story.
Wait, I don't remember seeing that, what episode is that from?
I think it's from that LARPG episode. I ain't sure though.
Wait, was that Kelly Hu at the end of the last episode?

The last two seasons have been horrible, imo. I don't know what you think, but this show has become a major sellout. The producers are just clinging onto the success of the first seasons, which were GREAT. But now it's just cheesy.
Old post but.. gods gain power based on worshipers, those lesser known gods have less worshipers, so they became weak
Even so, most of the pagan gods in Supernatural are still pretty damn powerful despite no longer having large amounts of followers to sacrifice to them to give them power. In almost all of the cases in the show, it takes some obscure source for the Winchesters to find the right kind of tool necessary to kill one. In Lucifer's case, he doesn't need a special steak made from the wood of a tree from wherever or an act of God preserved in crystal, or whatever. All he had to do was punch 'em.
I wonder if they bring Lucifer back at some point. [sp] He's still in the box with Michael isn't he?[/sp] Also, how fucking hard can it be to get [sp] John Winchester out of hell? I mean he did pop up when "all hell broke loose" at the graveyard when Azazel was killed but damn. [/sp]
i have a question, is there angels, the devil, god and demons in this show?
i cum every time a new episode is out. bout to watch "freeks and geeks"
I wish Cas was actually involved in this season. He seems to be a bit part character now.
Halfway done season 5, damn this show is good
season 5 is amazing. i love that season 8 is super long. i am kinda tired of waiting for [sp]the second trial[/sp].
i have a question, is there angels, the devil, god and demons in this show?
oh hi i got to season 3 i love this show i also have no life
Yes chuck is god and they should've ended the show shortly after the apocalypse was solved. But fuck it, i'm still watching. And i hate how this season is 50% bullshit, they keep making a good episode and then a crap episode. [editline]29th March 2013[/editline] [sp]Not really crap, just not relevant.[/sp]
I loved the lady who was discussing fairies.
