Because it's not the season finale yet.
In some seasons it was 1 episode earlier. I guess i was expecting it :v:

"Sacrifice" preview. Shit gon get real.
That spoils some stuff. I wish i didn't see it.
Gonna be a great season finale for sure.
[sp]I think the whole Cas-Metatron team up thing is a bit weird. Cas is just taking Metatron's word for granted and I think something fishy is going on there.
I guess the finale will have us expecting that Crowley is going to be 'cured' but he's too good a character for that to happen I think. It looks good though.[/sp]
Shit's gonna go down. And I just remembered how fucking hot Sarah is

[sp]Same here. Before I finished watching this episode I was thinking the same thing. It would make more sense that they cure him than anybody else. I also think the guy that plays Metatron is a bad choice[/sp]
Decent episode though. Took me awhile to finish it because I kept getting bored.
FYI guys.
[sp]The part with them killing the Nephilim reminded me that in the lore, Azazel is ONLY ever described as the angel father of a Nephilim. One can assume that the mysterious yellow-eyed demons are (were) the angels that fathered Nephilim, also called "The Watchers" in 1 Enoch.[/sp]
Speaking of Nephilim, [sp]I always thought about the idea that maybe Anna (The Angel dean helped get her grace back and was later killed by Michael) would get preggers and would give birth to a Nephilim, and that it would be a big story thing. Given her absense between the first meeting with her and the last, I thought it could be possible she gave birth during that time and that the child has been growing up since then. Could make for an interesting storyline in my opinion.[/sp]
[sp]All of the angels falling from heaven looked fucking badass, I hope they do something cool with this[/sp]
Crowley still best character.
[sp]Fuck so much to wonder about:
I guess Naomi was on the 'good' side after all and was just doing her best to avoid a catastrophe, at any cost.
I am still not 100% convinced that Crowley was being cured either. I suppose it doesn't matter now because Sam didn't go through with the last part to see if it worked. It probably won't last.
Abaddon wasn't around very long. I was hoping that she would be in the episode for more than 5 minutes. No doubt she'll be a main villain in the next season.
Fucking Metatron, what a douche. How do they fix that, considering he knows pretty much all there is to know about Heavenly lore?
Cas has no mojo.
Everything is broken haha.[/sp]
I've heard a lot about this show. Everywhere, really. I've thought of watching it when summer vacation rolls in. On average, what's the plots like? Do they arc across seasons? On a scale from 1-10 how would you all rate the humor and drama in it?

Humor and drama is an 8-9. Humor stays an 8-9 but plot suffers slightly in the later seasons.
Plots are all about traditional monsters from all sorts of civilizations and texts, overhanging arcs are usually about the demons having some sort of plan that the Winchesters foil. The plots usually only last for a season or two but they're referred to a lot in later seasons. You can tell in the intro recap.
It's raining [sp]angels[/sp], hallelujah!

Solid 9/10 till the end of season 5, Season 6 drops to about a 7.5/10 and then season 7 is like a 5/10, but 8's pretty good
I like how [sp]Crowley gradually looses his british accent as he is cured.[/sp]
Are they trying to imply something? :v:

Everyone knows [sp]villains always have British accents.[/sp]

His meatsuit is some salesman from New York. His accent was reverting to an American one.
Man, this episode gave me the chills, that scene with Crowley, [sp]screaming "I deserve to be loved!"[/sp] and the last scene of [sp]all the alarms in the Men of Letters base going off, the angels falling from Heaven[/sp], it was all chill-inducing. Haven't had a moment like that since the endings of seasons 3 and 5.
Band of Brothers?! The Pacific? GIRLS?!
So after months of watching this show, the finale of Season 8 is the episode I get to watch the night it airs. And now I have to wait for more.
Also. It kinda bothered me that[sp]Dean stopped Sam from curing Crowley. Not because of the whole "you'll die" thing, but because it seemed near the end Crowley really did want to be cured. I mean, Dean totally could have completed the ritual.[/sp] Guess we'll see next season.

[sp]Crowley was fully of Sam's purified blood, so I don't think Dean could have continued the ritual.[/sp]

I have a feeling that Crowley [sp]is cured, but still a demon, so in other words, a buddy demon. Which would be interesting against Abaddon. Also, if Sheppard becomes a regular[/sp], I will pee myself.
Bring back Lucifer already.
That was probably the best episode since the end of Season 5

I thought that one priest used [sp]someone else's blood.[/sp] Or did I misunderstand that.

[sp]But it didn't work, that could be why[/sp]

[sp]Priest used his own blood after going to confession, so it was cleansed.[/sp]

Aw, alright. Thanks for clearing that up.
So, what's FP's opinion? I'm being told that on Tumblr people are theorizing
[sp]
1. That the angels will have lost their memories
2. That they are now human.
I think it's going to be the first.
I can't imagine what's going to happen next. There are tons of factions in heaven, and figuring out what to do on earth would create even more. If they keep their memories, it'll be a bloodbath.[/sp]
