I live in Putnam and its JUST now hitting us.
We now have 4 dead in Hickman alone.
Christ. I'm in south Tennessee, Hamilton county. We're not getting much, at least not where I'm at. I hope everyone else fairs well though.
I heard. Some really talkative 12 year old on a stupid server told me all about it.
I'm near memphis and I haven't seen any flooding. But that might be because I haven't gone outside in several days
Holy crap. Is this coming towards East Tennessee? Because this looks pretty serious. Worse than the several tornado warnings and small earthquakes... what the hell's going on down here? Oh crap I just realized it's been raining outside for a while.
I'm waiting for Hurricane Season here in Florida to start. Flooding, strong winds, power outages, tornadoes, etc. You want it, a hurricanes got it.
And now its coming to Georgia, hope school is canceled!
We're supposed to get hit in SC tomorrow, hopefully it won't be too bad. Although missing a bit of school wouldn't really be a problem. :v:
Less Rednecks.
That should be "Fewer rednecks." Anyway, I think those of us in East Tennessee should be fine. Our weather is unpredictable, but it's very rarely severe. It's usually the folks in Middle and West Tennessee who get the really bad weather.
I'm waiting for Hurricane Season here in Florida to start. Flooding, strong winds, power outages, tornadoes, etc. You want it, a hurricanes got it.
A friend of mine is from Miami and he said this is worse than most hurricanes.
Southern Indiana. We got like 4+" of rain, but alot worse in Central and Southern Kentucky.
We now have 4 dead in Hickman alone.
heh, Hickman.
We had a flash flood warning earlier at about 3 pm. The tornado watches just missed us last night. Everything goes around Grainger county because of the mountain we have.
I live in Bellevue, Davidson County. It's been pouring, but not as much damage as other places. I heard a little girl downed at a golf course. Electricity went out some so I haven't watched the news, but I didn't know it was that bad;
I wonder how this is going to be once it gets into Georgia. If it sticks around long enough we might get some flooding. I doubt it though, we already had one massive flood in November.
First Billy Mays, now this!
I live not too far from Nashville, haven't been outside so I don't know how bad it is around here. Hoping it's not too bad. There's a Nissan plant not even half a mile from my house.
You live in Smyrna?! It's where I lived and grew up! (Nashville and Smyrna) Now living near Eglin AFB in Florida though
Here in montgomery we're supposed to see another 8 feet of flooding tonight on top of everything else thats been coming down on us. Fuccckkkk
And now its coming to Georgia, hope school is canceled!
We already have plenty of school closings here. [editline]10:54PM[/editline]
You live in Smyrna?! It's where I lived and grew up! (Nashville and Smyrna) Now living near Eglin AFB in Florida though
Yes I do.
Damn thats alot of rain... Friend of mine in Nashville snapped this picture from his office parking lot:
this is a sign BUILD AN ARC GET TWO OF EVERY ANIMAL
You think that's flooding? Imagine how the folks in Fargo/Grand Forks, North Dakota feel. But then again it's their fault for living so close to a river that floods EVERY YEAR. Anyway, stay safe, man
I'm waiting for Hurricane Season here in Florida to start. I'd love to go fishing and see what I catch :3:
It's just now starting to hit over here in East. My porch is flooding.
Hey Linelor, make sure your brother Cletus doesn't wander off into the basement and drown.
I live in Putnam and its JUST now hitting us.
Woah, Cookeville, or Algood? Nobody really pays attention to the other places in Putnam.
