I'm disappointed the game just ends there. There should be an SOL freeroam where you just do shit with Min
Ok, I can really respect that. It's actually a real application of the idea some games are going for recently, "You are responsible for all this death and such. If you don't try to be the hero, and walk away, it would not happen." [sp]Best comparison I can think is Spec Ops. Everything in that is your fault because you try to play hero. If you hadn't gotten involved, things wouldn't have gotten so bad.[/sp] Its the same thing here most likely. [editline]14th November 2014[/editline]
I'm disappointed the game just ends there. There should be an SOL freeroam where you just do shit with Min
It makes sense to me. You have no reason to be there other than this. You're not there to explore or blow shit up or anything. So you have no reason to go and roam.
The youtube comments for this video are great, it never ceases to amaze me how retarded people can get
If you guys don't get it: [sp]The last line: "Lets go shoot some fucking guns". The game basically tells you oh cool you found this, now play the game for real[/sp]
Video's private.
Wow, now I don't even want to play the game the way it was intended. :(
Download 40 GB video game to watch a 15 minute video. Art
Well, 2 and 3 ran great, and it is the same engine.
After the whole AC4 mess I'll be skeptical until it actually comes out.
Anyone got another link to the video ? I'm actually really curious about this.
After the whole AC4 mess I'll be skeptical until it actually comes out.
It's fine to be skeptical, but FC is quite separate besides the world design. I'm pretty optimistic of FC4.

Looking at the Giant bomb quicklook it's basically Far Cry 3 with very minor improvements tech wise, so I'd assume it'll run exactly the same if not slightly worse because of the small upgrades. But even then, I wouldn't pre-order anything that you have even slight doubts about, what's the point? Is it really that hard to wait a day or two longer to find out whether the game is a total trainwreck or not?

It doesn't benefit you outside of getting bonuses that the publisher setup specifically for it. You don't run out of copies these days.
where is the video
where is the video
Ubisoft probably asked Gamespot to get rid of it. Embargo is still up in the US I believe.
I think this is what was in OP.
I think this is what was in OP.
Ooh, they did a good job with the villain again. It'd be cool if they made a quick mission where you shoot people from the heli, but that might've been a bit much.
I think this is what was in OP.
Well that's neat.
That's actually pretty great and really clever. Let's hope the game actually ends up good though.
Well, 2 and 3 ran great, and it is the same engine.
I wouldn't trust that logic. Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising OTR are literally the same game, yet the latter runs significantly worse because it's a shit port.
It's done intentionally so I don't see the issue unless people just are looking to complain about something
You should really take that warning off, this spoils almost nothing at all and it might just put people off from watching it if they plan to play the game.
Does this really not spoil anything? I was quite worried that I'd just accidently ruined something for myself.
legendary ending i now want to buy FC4
I don't think I've ever seen a game do something like this, it's pretty cool actually, rather than forcing you to play it one way.
here's the custom robo alt ending. spoilers i guess....
Does this really not spoil anything? I was quite worried that I'd just accidently ruined something for myself.
this is basically just a cool easter egg/alternate ending, it spoils nothing about the actual main game
this is basically just a cool easter egg/alternate ending, it spoils nothing about the actual main game
Well, it may or may not. It very quickly reveals quite a bit about each of the characters in the backstory.
Do you actually get to go do stuff after that or no?
Looks like the villain is going to be even better this time around, really hope the game is as good as the previous. I guess this is what they were referencing in those trailers [sp]that showed a character asking if you were going to just do what you came for and leave, or if you were going to take this guy down. You actually do have that choice.[/sp]
[sp]Makes me kind of want a parallel plot where you go around fucking shit up with Pagan Min[/sp]
Huh, that's actually something quite new for video games. The other examples were refusing to play the game, not actual endings that resolved the main conflict.
Heh I guess the intro has some real meaning to it. [sp]Should I stay or should I go[/sp]
Huh, that's actually something quite new for video games. The other examples were refusing to play the game, not actual endings that resolved the main conflict.
I would honestly say this could end up being the best execution of the whole idea of the player being the problem thus far. With other games, they go for the whole "You chose to do this, you are the problem." But thats not really exactly fair just saying "Well don't play the game." This actually puts that choice in the player's hands, so whatever happens literally is their fault because they do legitimately have the ability to not get involved while still actually playing the game.
