some shows have them saying "piss" now too.
I don't see this as a problem. CN's newer shows are more 13+ oriented now, which is fantastic.
Standards have really fallen.
What's this trash doing on Cartoon Network.
Shaking its booty.
I knew some shows had some moments, but this is just over the line. I don't mind it, not one bit, but a lot of younger kids watch that show, and now they are going to shake it, bake it, and booty quake it.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!
There were lots of Big Lebowski references in the Powerpuff Girls. What happened to subtle adult appeal rather than this?
What the fuck did I just watch
That is not the Cartoon Network that I grew up with

It's what every animator wanted to make but couldn't until now.
It's better than what happened to John Krisvaluci.

Come on people, it's not like this shit is new.

And let's not even get into Bruce Timm.

"No"
... LOL.
I really don't understand why this has you all so flustered.
Because Cartoon Network used to have kick ass shows, now they have this shit which is on the edge of softcore porn. It's fucked up. This used to be my childhood ffs.
So? It was my childhood too. I didn't start crying when I realized that animators like sex.
[editline]20th November 2010[/editline]
I mean leave any group of artists to their own devices and they'll put out this kind of shit out. It happens in movies, comic books, music, and goddamn opera, I don't see how it's so deplorable when it's in animation.
You know, unless you all have some sort of weird purity complex when it comes to that.
Future porn star.
I don't give two shakes that the animators want to draw sex, the problem is that it's being aired, midday, on basic cable. There used to be good shows on at that time. Things like Ed Edd and Eddy and the like.
How is this show now bad? Have you even seen it?
And there's Adventure Time. I hear that's good.
And what's the problem with them airing this? It's not like every ten year old on the planet isn't watching porn on the internet anyway. And if they aren't they probably don't give a fuck about this.
I mean I could understand if she was fucking someone or something, but she's shaking her ass. How is that going to destroy the minds of children? "I was going to grow up to be a doctor, but then I realized that women have asses so I decided to sell drugs instead."

Eh, not saying I like what Cartoon Network is doing with this, but you do have a point. How is this going to affect them any worse than attending the public school system? They receive worse influences elsewhere, it's not going to do any more harm should they be exposed to something of a lower degree on basic cable.
Its inappropriate for a network pertaining to children. There's a difference between adult humor and this shit.
But if people actually think this will "DESTROY THEIR CHILD'S MIND", they should put said child up for adoption and never have another.

Never said it was appropriate... But compare this to what goes on in middle and high school. This is nothing. And I believe it stems, somewhat, from the environment they're placed in on a daily basis, which skews what is appropriate and inappropriate.

I think it's good that they loosening up on the whole OMG SEX IS BAAAAD! thing. It's not like it's entirely out of line with 12-ish humour anyway.
That was based off Peter and Lois from Family guy, from the op.

Jesus. Since when did this forum develop such a strong moral fiber?
Ren and Stimpy was more fucked up than this shit. I still have nightmares about that insect that devoured Ren's skull. Yet a scene that implies sexuality has this place up in arms.

Its just a cheap way to gather attention in my opinion. They should use that effort to make shows with clever humor, entertaining for all ages. Not just tapping into the naturally perverted minds of teenage boys.
Ren and Stimpy had genitalia visible
Kids need to grow up with more cartoons like Beavis and Butthead not trash like this!

This was funny, what the Hell are you talking about.
Stop drowning in your nostalgia and get actual taste.

Er, are you trying to imply that Ed Edd and Eddy had very high brow humor that only an adult mind could catch?
And like I said, you haven't even watched the show. You're just pissed that it has sexual content in it.

Yes, it's not like most of Ed, Edd, and Eddy's humor was derived from slapstick or anything.
Yes, it's not like most of Ed, Edd, and Eddy's humor was derived from slapstick or anything.
Ed Edd and Eddy made the Pirates of Penzance look like The Three Stooges! You sir are full of poppycock!

Did I mention Ed Edd and Eddy? No, I didn't. And who's mad? I'm just stating my opinion. I believe its just a source of cheap sex appeal, but I agree that people who make it out like its the end of the world should shut up.
