In one the scene there seems to be like 1920s/1930 style cars
I would have watched the original Avatar if it was more mature but it had a good idea going. Maybe this show will appeal to a wider audience.
dont be a fuckaloon and go watch it now

it would be neat if it turned out that korra was sokka's granddaughter or something

Or some connection like Roku being good friends with Ozai and Aang becoming friends with Zuko.
I love the animation style
I really wish I have cable right now
Or some connection like Roku being good friends with Ozai and Aang becoming friends with Zuko.
first off, i agree except for the fact that it was sozin, not ozai
it would be pretty weird if ozai were around before sozin was even firelord
man i loved this series the most
great to see its coming back in modern day. i wonder what the anti-benders will look like
Actually pretty excited for this. The first time I heard of the first series it looked like a stupid kiddy show to me but i watched a few episodes and liked it quite a lot. Makes me wonder if someone can never be too old for cartoons.

Of course not
I would rather watch this stuff 20 years later than shitty sitcoms and soap operas

Oh shit, you're right. Zuko's family has too many z's I mix them up sometimes.
Wow, this is fantastic news considering I just finished watching through all of Avatar. It was definitely one of my favorite shows.
Holy fuck is that Sokka's voice actor?
Looks like the police are throwing some wire thing, so it looks like it is metal. And Korra only shows Fire bending and Waterbending, but not any other elements in that trailer.
Yeah according to the creators of the show, the police use metalbending, Toph taught every country she went to how to metalbend and if I remember correctly Korra does not know how to Airbend and she needs to learn it from Aang.

you mean tenzin because if it were aang that would be 2 avatars at a time and probably break the world
I am very excited for this. I'm not the kind of guy who still watched cartoons or Anime, but Avatar is telling a very excellent and mature story and the animations are fluent and appealing.
I loved the series, and I can't wait for Korra!
Dude what? Goddamn yes this is amazing news
I really liked that they made the protagonists older
It's been 3 years since Avatar has ended, so anyone who grew up watching the show can still relate to the characters
