Your friend has a pretty hefty tolerance or he's smoking mid to low grade bud. 3 full bowls, at least for me will get me to a [7] normally, I'm willing to bet that one bowl for most people won't put them straight to a [4], depends what they're smoking as well.
With me, I have to keep getting different kinds of bud, because I build a tolerance to everything. With this homegrown stuff I got from my dad's friend, I have to take like two bowls to myself to even feel a buzz now. I guarantee that if you gave me something different right now I'd sail up into a [9].

I've never had a bad salvia experience,I only ever fuck with about 40x but I always have some crazy transcendtal shit going down from it and I have an afterglow that makes me feel really weird but in a good way afterward
