Sounds like the method of freezing weed/shake to make bubble hash, just freezing it then grinding is pointless imo however freezing shake then putting it in a shake box with a few pennies will net you a very large amount of kief and you don't smoke shake(Unless you're the most desperate motherfucker alive) so everything works out well.
