Yeah, it was nostalgic too for me. Since me and my brother played the shit out of that game when we were little. We never owned it, we just kept renting it over and over when ever there weren't any new interesting games out, haha.

I've rediscovered a lost love for the genre, and with all the preposterous amount of links he has given me I feel I'm ready to get discovering and exploring the genre even more in depth than I thought previously possible. Yeah, I enjoy my metal as well. But I most often take it in smaller portions than I would my other music; I feel it loses it's touch (like most music genres) after listening to the same style over and over for hours/days on end.
